New blood work (01/28/14) need some help
Here is my blood work that was drawn a couple weeks ago. The hand writing on the document is my doctors notes indicating my results from previous blood work labs. I know my Hematocrit is high and I am donating this week sometime my last donation was in the beginning of Oct 2013. My Estradiol is on the low end should I try and get it towards the 30's and if so how would I do that? Like I said in my post from earlier my Ferritin is in the tank what is the best way to get it back up?
My current protocol is:
28mg Test Cyp 3x/week(84mg/Week)
250 IU Hcg 2x/week(500IU/Week)
No AI
10,000 IU D3 everyday

take iron supplements with vitamin C or just eat a lot of red meat rich in heme iron.
My biggest question is what was your protocol before this? When you had an estrogen level of 71!? and now it's 18
My first thought would be to slightly increase your test dose to say 100 mg/week even at your test level, but then again I don't know how you feel, How is your mood, training, libido, etc?Last edited by booku; 02-11-2014 at 01:00 PM.

How much Iron and Vitamin C should I take / day? I eat about 4oz of ground beef a day.
The last e2 test wasn't sensitive one, so I go one on my own thru *************. I got the sensitive one in Dec by myself just to check and my last month one was @ 25. I am not on an AI at all just switched to the sensitive test.
I feel pretty good. I have been lifting heavy on my compound movements trying to keep the rep range around 6 and feeling good. Only issue I have been having is from the T-Rows my left elbow area has been hurting doing them, so maybe i'll just have to do something else to give it time to heal. Only problem with going to 100mg/week I don't want to donate every 2 months and further tanking my ferritin levels, so was thinking maybe even going a little lower on the Test cyp so maybe i would only have to donate every 4-6 months?Last edited by calicp; 02-11-2014 at 01:38 PM.

Where's free T?
If above is good I'd reduce your dose slightly which helps your RBC.
Donate right away.
I'd switch to twice per week injections to get a bit more aromatization, if you don't feel good where you are now.
Keep a close eye on your D and don't get too high with it. Too much can be toxic.
If you supplement with Iron go low dose elemental and add C for proper absorption as mentioned above.Last edited by kelkel; 02-11-2014 at 06:59 PM.

I just got my new blood work in. This time I did blood work 2.5 days after injection so Test is little high. My doc doesn't order Free test on my blood work he just uses a calculator to get the free test. I used one online using total test, Albumin, and SHBG and it says Free Testosterone :26.6 ng/dL = 2.42 %, Bioavailable Testosterone:679 ng/dL = 61.7 %. The lab guy at the labcorp didn't put the sensitive estradiol on lab for some reason, but usually runs 25-30 on a sensitive test. I also donated blood day after my blood test.
I am on 80 mg Test/ week(split into 2 injections), 250 IU HCG 3x/week. I have been supplementing with 65mg Iron to try and get Ferritin back up and seems to of worked.
Can someone look at my thyroid numbers and should i have any concern over them? Some people on here suggested I get thyroid checked because low ferritin is related to Hypothyroid.Last edited by calicp; 05-08-2014 at 10:10 AM.

Did you donate blood after your last set of labs? You really need to do that first. ASAP. Estrogen is high, as well. That will completely negate your t numbers. Need to fix that also. I'll leave the thyroid for the more knowledgeable, but your tsh is similar to mine-looks good. But, a complete thyroid workup is needed to see if there are issues. Many endos rely solely on tsh, but it's a weak indicator of thyroid function.
Donate blood tomorrow!!!
