Got my serum level results today...
I went in because of a low sex drive and lethargy.
As I suspected my serum level is extremely low, 259. I have an appointment to go back in and discuss this with my doctor Monday. Anyone have some info on what I should suspect, what I should ask for and so forth and so on. I have done maybe 2 or 3 cycles in my life back in my 20's I am now 34, I am 6'4" tall and 248 lbs. So I don't think this has anything to do with anything I have done but no matter I just want to get things back to normal.

Just curious, but is this your first test?

Good point...check it a few times, always first thing in the morning! If this hasn't been done already.
Other than that, look at all the blood work & get all blood work done...work together with your doctor to try & figure out why it's low.Last edited by 64509chvl; 02-21-2014 at 03:47 PM.

Get it retested first thing in the morning, after not smoking, drinking, taking any prescription or illegal drugs, and eating a healthy diet for a minimum of 3 weeks, if still low, you need a full thyroid panel, cortisol, cbc, test, free test, e2, lh, fsh, prolactin, dhea-s, dht, shbg etc and then go from there, thats what i would do

^^^ That. There's a list in the Finding A Doc sticky thread at the top of this forum as well Do not just jump on TRT. Many things can cause low T. Root out the issue and correct it. Get a copy of your blood work and post it here if you can. Some of the things that can contribute to low T are hypothyroidism, elevated cortisol or prolactin, pathologies or testicular trauma.

Ok did the test at 9am fasting since dinner the night before. We did CBC, T4, and TSH, all were normal but I have been on syntroid for about a year now.
Since my wife and I want 1 more child doctor recommended trying some OTC meds (DHEA, Testrogain, Vitamin D3 and tongkat ali) first and retesting in 2 months to see what my level is again.
