    Testosterone lowered while dieting?

Let me get this right. Working out, talking about heavy weight lifting here, boost testosterone while dieting reduces it?

To my knowledge, cleaning up our diets should lead to a boost in testosterone, but being in a caloric deficit will lead to lower testosterone levels ?

Say if someone's dieting for a physique competition, by the time they get stage ready their testosterone levels would have dropped quite a bit? Is this why most guys take gear while dieting?

Considering test is converted from fat and cholesterol, I would think a diet would do that, yeah. Of course that is if you are cutting and watching fats.

My test level went up to 350 while training and cutting. Wasn't taking HCG or anything at that time.

That makes sense to me. My T was low for a multitude of reasons and after educating myself, I now realize that diet and being undernourished was a major contributor. The cholesterol aspect of it is logical too. There was a good discussion around eggs as a source of protein and what people are doing in regard to yolk consumption. The net of that was not to ignore our fats as it relates to foods to assist with optimum T levels.
