If Estradiol is very low before TRT, would you need an Anti-Estrogen on TRT?
I am currently, in the process of educating myself on TRT as much as possible (I wish my doc would do the same, heaven forbid) and I was just curious about this. My Estradiol level was 6.9pg/ml on my last blood test with a reference range of 7.6-42.6. With my level being so low, would I need to take something like arimidex with a conservative trt dosing protocol (Ex: 100mg Test 2x a week, 200IU HCG 2x a week).
Or would you suggest start without it an see what becomes of the level?

No way of knowing how much your body will convert once on TRT, regardless of dose. I was fairly low prior and on TRT with only 100mg weekly and no AI, I'm in the mid 70 range.
Regardless, always start your TRT with no AI and dose appropriately if needed after your follow up labs.

Dave gave you good advice and so did Kel. One thing I'd add is to consider starting your T dosing much lower - at 100mg/week - split into 50mg every 3.5 days. You can always increase later if necessary. The most common hCG dosing is 250iu twice a week, but if 400iu/week works for you, go for it.

Measure properly when the time comes. And like 2Sox said, splitting that to 50mg every 3-4 days is even better.
Splitting hairs with the HCG amount. Either is fine.
