ECT for secondary hypo
Hi. Some of you may have heard of a operation in the psych field called electro convulsive therapy or ECT. It is used in depression and other psych illnesses. They think it works by reseting the hpa axis.
I am going off no clinical research, Im just throwing this out there. Does anyone think ECT would be useful in reseting the hpta axis? Almost like shocking it back to life? Probably a shot in the dark, just wondering what you all think.
Regardless, ECT is my next treatment option for depression if TRT doesnt help my symptoms.
