TRT + Clomid?

I met with my Dr the other week and he put me on Clomid along side my 1/2ML weekly T dose. I went in because of the shrinkage factor. He said his goal was to have me run the Clomid with the T, and then over the next few months, taper off the T and go for a restart using the Clomid. Does anyone have any thoughts on this approach? I am 32 years old, can't see miraculously going back to sufficient levels. Looking for some opinions.

Also, what do people do to maintain fertility when on TRT for life? Can you run Clomid or HCG along side T permanently? Can you cycle the Clomid or HCG?

I am on TRT...have been for about 5 years. I run hCG with my gel. I can't say that I am "fertile" because I have not been tested, but I feel pretty good otherwise. Many here run hCG with their TRT on a permanant basis.

As far as a restart goes, that may be worth a try. It really depends on why your T was low to begin with.

my standard trt is test cyp 100 mg q 10 days and 25mg clomid 3 times a week, i do not cycle any of this

running HCG with test will keep you fertile. We have a few members here who have had children while on trt

not sure if u are asking me... but i do it r/t atrophy..hcg didnt do anything for me there, clomid does.

I plan on having another kid in the next couple of years. I didn't want to risk infertility, plus my boys shrunk and look stupid. This is why I was wondering if this is common to run both indefinitely or cycle, or what. HCG is a little out of my price range, plus I already inject twice a week so I figured I could avoid more injections.
