buying insulin needles
Hello all,
Been using Axiron for 1.5 years now but I am switching to injections.
I wanted to try subQ right out of the gates but I didn't bring it up to my doctor. (Long story why I didn't bring it up to him but I am in the process of finding a new doctor.)
Anyway, my question is:
Can I just walk up to any pharmacy and say, "Hey can I have some 27 gauge 1/2" needles and 1 cc syringes?"
I live in Georgia.

Not sure about your states laws on buying in stores. I can't buy in Arkansas or Oklahoma, and I get looked at funny everytime I ask. LOL It's very easy to find them online.

Walgreens no prescription required
29 gauge, 1/2 inch 1cc
All the other big name pharmacy's asked me for a script. Haven't tried costco though.

I can't speak specifically to GA laws, but when I first started years ago I had no luck from any of the big name pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens. I ended up going to a mom and pop pharmacy and when I found out they'd sell them to me, bought like a 5 year supply. lol

Buying online seems to be no issues for myself. Should be the same for you.

In my state, I can buy them at the pharmacy. But they are dicks about it. Walgreens wants all your info here. Walmart was easy to get a box of 100. Just ask.

So I went to CostCo and they asked for my prescription. I showed them my prescription for testosterone but they said they needed my prescription for the needles.
I stated that my doctor told me that I wouldn't need a prescription. They responded that they won't sell without a prescription.
So.... I ordered them online.Last edited by The Deadlifting Dog; 03-05-2014 at 10:20 AM.
