How to get gear out of your medical insurance?

Hi, I'm 28 y/o, 5'11'', 205lbs, 25% bf. It's my first year of solid training, though I've been messing around for a short while.

I'm 99% sure that hrt is covered by my medical insurance.
One day I'm gonna blast and cruise, I want to set it up so as much as possible is paid by my medical insurance.
    How do I do that?

I think standard hrt here is gel (1% testosterone ) every day and testosterone undecanoate shot every 3 months.
Timing between shots and gel doses vary according to bloodwork, which is regular (don't know how regular).
Is this any good? I read that gel is not good, a shot every 3 months also seems too far apart.
Does your doctor listen to your needs or tries to avoid prescribing you extra test?

Just looking for info, not gonna use very soon.

If you end up on HRT the last thing you want to do is risking losing it.

    Bad idea.
