Recent blood work and would like to see if anyone has any thoughts. Liver values are very high, they were also high 6 months ago on last test. No, I don't have hepatitis and I haven't used any oral steroids in years and I only have a total of a few drinks a year.

AST 71
ALT 246 (this was over 300 last blood test)

I've always run a little higher on these numbers than the average person but this is pretty high. I've read that weight training can cause these readings to come back very high but I do not know the validity...this study seems to support it though:
Muscular exercise can cause highly pathological liver function tests in healthy men

Have been working out a bit more than normal over the last 7-8months with a little let off this past month to let some tension I've had in my bicep tendon heal. Tossing around the idea of bodybuilding again, not sure yet but I'm itching a little bit.

I've also read a few topics on dietary fat increase readings and I eat close to 100g of fat per day but this one seems to be more theory than anything else.

Rest of blood work...nothing out of the ordinary...HDL about 10 points low like always, triglycerides slightly up which is rare but not bad...lipids overall pretty good. Total T 990, Free T 24...still waiting on E2 reading. IGF 289, blood is not thick...hematocrit and RBC has actually gone down since last blood draw despite not giving blood and no change in doses - doses: Test 60mg/2x/wk, HCG 500iu/2x/wk.

If anyone has any thoughts or experiences similar I'd love to hear. I'm not sure if a discussion of liver enzymes really belongs in the TRT section but guess this is as good as any
