Dr. Number 6 .... or is it 7
New new doctor.
The last one treated low T but not all the byproducts (E2 and testicular shrinkage)....
This one is treating it all.... AND takes my insurance...
only downside is they do not let you do home injections...

No self injections is a huge downfall, enough to make me keep looking. Couldn't imagine going to the Dr twice per week, or even once a week just to get an injection.

You might want to check into the legality of this. It's my understanding that new FDA rules now prohibit doctors from keeping their own Testosterone supplies in their offices for dispensing. They MUST write scripts for their patients. Some doctors do get around this by telling their patients that they'll only treat them if they allow the doctor to keep patient testosterone in their offices which they visit for an injection. May be a Catch 22.

He was the last straw. After the second shot he wanted me to get blood work done in three week to see what my levels were. I said I think the levels are going to be low after three weeks. The doc said if my numbers come back low he would up my dose and check again in three weeks. He was setting me up for what would be a high dose every three weeks. I never went back. I went home and called a clinic that set me up on a good protocol. I have since got a GP to administer my therapy so that is covered by my insurance.

No self injections is a deal breaker for me. As someone who used to get allergy shots twice a week, the thought of having to do that for the rest of my life makes me cringe. What happens whenever you go out of town or holiday weeks?
