Studies that support injecting 2x week and the half life of testosterone

Recently had a doc tell me that he would do injections ONCE A MONTH! He is quite reasonable though, to some extent. Are there any legitimate medical studies that show the half life of testosterone and/or support having a person inject conservative amounts of test twice a week?

This would be a major help to me.
    Thanks guys,
    Jakes

Would this doctor prescribe you antibiotics to be taken once monthly?

As absurd as it is, I still need the scientific data/studies.

Half life is in the pamphlet that will come with your bottle of test. Get your script, open box and pull out pamphlet, then take to Dr. and show him how bad a once per month injection is. After the first week you are going to feel worse than prior to TRT defeating the purpose.

^^ Above & Tell this quack to open up his Physician Desk Reference (all Docs have this) to the page for any Testosterone Cypionate product listed and it documents the half-life. Half-life alone should serve as justification for 2x weekly dosing...

Besides, you can inject as often as you like. If he makes you come in for an injection and does not allow you to self inject, find a new Dr.

Thanks for the link. My only concern is that it specifically recommends an every 2 week dosing protocol, though.

I suppose so. I guess as long as I have enough needles, and enough test, that would not be a problem.

You're injecting the same amount of test divided into two. The needles you can buy from the site sponsor or from Amazon.

I appreciate the link but I need some legitimate literature supporting twice a week (or even once a week) injections. Both links in this thread actually say that test should be injected every 2 weeks-4 weeks. I need something legitimate suggesting twice a week injections.

Edit: I don't mean to sound ungrateful in any way (I greatly appreciate you guys helping me), I just really need something concrete suggesting once or twice a week injections. Thanks to everyone who has posted in this thread.

I posted the link as under pharmacokinetics is gives the half life of testosterone . An injection protocol based on terminal life is horrible and hopefully your doctor will understand that.

Google "Testosterone Replacement Therapy, a recipe for success" by Dr. John Crisler and you'll find a power point that may answer all your questions for you. I can't link it here. Crisler is one of the best in the business.
