How do I raise my script?

My doctor started me on 1/2 ML of testosterone cyp every 2 weeks. After 2 injections I convinced him over the phone to increase that to 1 ML every 2 weeks.

Symptoms of fatigue and low libido are getting better.

Can anyone advise me how to get an increase from where I'm at now? I don't want to state to him it's not working and risk losing the script.

Haven't had any follow up BW yet, my doctor is basing my need on my symptoms rather than my numbers.

I'm 36, 6' 1" and 200lbs. I work out everyday and am in the best shape of my life right now, just looking to achieve perfection.

It's common knowledge that a once every two week protocol is a BAD protocol and it clearly shows your doctor doesn't know anything about TRT. This same story has been repeated dozens of times here so don't feel alone. Because of the half life of Test Cyp, you'll be going up and down like a roller coaster and feeling pretty crappy before your next shot. (And IMO 1/2 mL - 100mg every two weeks is ridiculous anyway.)

I'm going to speak in mg's. Easier for everyone. If you want to change anything, instead of thinking about more Test, I'd suggest you think about more frequently. I'd advise that you suggest to your doctor you'd like to go to a 100mg/week protocol - split into two doses of 50mg every 3.5 days. It will make for more stable T levels. There are many dosing protocol options you can try but this is what a majority of men on this forum do, and it seems to work well for them. (Later on you can do some experimenting.) Try this for a month or so and then get blood work to see where you stand. You can always titrate up your dose later on, if necessary.

A once or twice a week dosing protocol will make you feel MUCH better. Also lower, more frequent dosing seems to control estradiol better.

I'd also suggest you read the "stickies" at the top of the page. It will help further your understanding of TRT and also in educating your doctor.

I believe my doctor is worried about the injection frequency and scar tissue. I can switch this up as per your advice without his knowledge. Injecting 50mg seems like a tiny amount, I guess it's just that potent of stuff huh?

Why not try subq, a lot easier and I believe less damage to the pinning area. Also slot smaller needle.

I suggested 50mg, TWICE a week. ("Potency" may not be the best choice of words because men often react differently to different doses, frequencies and method of injection.) Many men are now injecting subcutaneously, using a very small gauge insulin needle - like 29gauge. Right into the fatty areas of you body - like the abdomen or love handles - painless and no scar tissue. I do this and like it very much. Makes for a more steady release of T into the body.

I hear ya on twice a week, I started a new thread regarding this but think I figured out why mentally 50mg seems low, I have HUGE syringes. I need to get smaller ones.

There are many places online that you can purchase syringes without a script. A simple search will turn them up. I use Easy Touch, 29 gauge with 1/2 inch needle. But there are many other brands.

You can get your syringes from the site sponsor actually. Great advice given by 2Sox, listen to it. Score, learn to inject in multiple locations and rotate them. Much easier that way. And as stated, many here really like SQ.

Thanks. I know syringe size and appearance of what's actually same quantities sounds dumb and is likely annoying to you vets, but as a newbie there's an adrenaline rush every time I inject and I'm riding that high in the weight room as long as I can!

It's not annoying. We've been there. We were all new here once as well so no worries. But, what 2Sox recommended to you will help you more than you know. If you feel even better then everything else is better, right?

My test level jumped higher on subq, E2 was a bit lower also. Arr is a great place to get syringes and needles. 2Sox is on the money.
