    Gyno or excess bodyfat?

How do you tell the difference? Is pain or tenderness always associated with gyno?

There will be a lump behind the nipple. Usually it is sensitive/painful and can be itchy prior to developing. Once the lump develops breast tissue will begin to grow behind and then around the nipple. This is referred to as the "head" of the gynocomastia it then usually grows towards the armpit and this is referred to as the "tail" of the gynocomastia. The sensitivity/pain may cease and then return. Usually breast tissue is actively growing whenever there is pain and sensitivity. Pseudo gynocomastia is just fat stores in the chest.
