    6 week bloodwork is in.

Hey guys, here's a quick reminder.
    28 years old. 50mg 2x a week. 350iu of hcg 2x a week (same days).

    Beginning numbers:
    Total T 396 (348-1197)
    Free T 12.6 (9.3-26.5)

My injection prior to the blood work was done on a Friday evening, blood work was taken Monday morning.

    6 week numbers:
    Total T 643 (348-1197)
    Free T 14.8 (9.3-26.5)
    Estradiol Sensitive 18 (3-70)

I haven't heard from my Dr. yet, but I'm anticipating he'll increase my dose (he told me he'd like to see me in the 900 range). I'm actually hoping that in doing so, it will raise not only my test numbers but also raise my estradiol. My joints have been a real problem for me for a long time, and while they are a little better now I think a higher E2 will actually be better for me.

As far as symptoms: I still get quite tired in the afternoons. My libido was one of the biggest issues, I just never had the desire for sex. That is on a slight roller coaster ride, but for the most part has definitely improved. Sexual function, well before treatment I had no problem (only problem was desire). So now, it actually sometimes gets awkward with the random erections. Those never get full on, but still. I can be thinking about something totally unrelated to sex and it just happens. If it gets worse with the higher dose I'll probably talk to the Dr about it.

There we have it. So far, I'm happy with my treatment. I hope to get a little better out of it. Just curious, what do you guys think he'll increase my dose to?

Also, hermatocrit was 47.1 (37.5-51.0) and RBC was 4.97 (4.14-5.80). Should I go give blood soon?

I would be interested in that also it seems that a raise would be warranted unless your SHBG is affecting your free t. I would go and donate some blood. Won't hurt, and better than waiting for it to get higher especially if your dose is raised. What days are you pinning and how? (IM or subq)

Great to see you have a progressive doc! Did he design this protocol or did you have influence here? Make sure you focus on Free T and not Total as your bottom line. Yes, elevating your T will help your E thus help your joints. Mine is inherently low as well and I struggled to raise it. Be sure to check your DHEA-S level and supplement accordingly. Improving this can help elevate E as well.

Patience and more patience. It takes time to dial in and to feel better. There is no "set time" as we are all different. And don't you dare complain about random erections as one day you'll wish you were back in that time. Just find something to do with it and be happy. And trust me, you may think you're not thinking about sex but your subconscious is.

If it were me I'd up it to 60 x 2 and retest in a month or so. Include the items you did not test for in this one. DHEA-s, vit D, SHBG, etc.

Never hurts to give blood. Good for you, good for society. In reality you may never need to give blood. Keep an eye on it.

Kel, I'm with low t. I'm not sure if he designed the protocol or not, but he said this is where he starts most of his patients, and his goal for each is different.

I have dhea in the cabinet, I may start supplementing with it. Can't hurt.

Yes I figured I'd catch some flak regarding the randoms. It's not a big deal, it just sometimes happens at inopportune times.

Unfortunately my next bw isn't for 4 more months. I can purchase additional bw for $99, I may do that in a month or so (if he makes an adjustment)

    Great then.

Hold off until you know your level. Don't supplement blindly.

There is never an inopportune time. Create the opportunity.

Update, he says if I'm still symptomatic (which I am, just at a milder degree) he'd like to move me to 75mg 2x w week, leaving the hcg at 350iu. Guess I'll be starting that tomorrow
