Clomid or Novadex
My doctor won't prescribe me an AI. My total test is 950 something and E is 86. He said the E is fine but I want to lower it to under 45. I have a local source that can get me Clomid or Novadex. Which one is for effective and should I take? I will try for a month and then figure out how to get BW done. May have to go with an independent company.

Find a new dr because if he won't give you an AI he doesn't understand trt.

I am in a very rural area without many options for doctors. I live in SE KY. I am lucky to find him who know something about it. I was going to a family doc who had me on a every other week plan. Right now insurance covers me but I am little worried with what I have been reading here lately. I don't want to got to a third doctor and raise any flags. Also finding a third doctor could be hard. I have looked for urologist, endos, or family docs who specialized in this but no luck. I don't care to use a source to get an AI.

You can get any AI you want from ar-r (the banner at the top right of the page).
Nolva and Clomid are SERM's, not AI's. They do not reduce circulating estrogen.
You could also lower your test dose by 25% and/or pin more frequently.
Was this an E2 sensitive test, or just serum estrogen? Because you really need the former to get your hrt protocol dialed in.

Lower your dose and pin more frequently. If this doesn't get you in range or you are insistent on using an AI, then start with arimidex .25 E3D. Then check blood work again.
