Once a week instead of E3D

I need expertise on this one :-) I have been injecting TestC every 3.5 days. My insurance has cracked down on getting early refills.. My question; will it make a HUGE difference going .5ml once a week instead of .25ml every 3.5 days? My doc has me on 1ml every 2 weeks. Thanks for your help

Not sure I understand you exactly...
1ml every other week is the same amount as .5ml every week is the same amount as .25ml every 3.5 days.

Why would you be needing early refills?

Yes it will make a difference. Stick with the standard. Why does insurance cracking down on early refills have to do with anything?

Sorry I should have explained, insurance used to cover 10ml vials, just this month they've started giving me just a months supply, 2x1ml vials. Trying to get exactly 2.5ml has caused me to run slightly short now and I wasn't able to get the last dose out...

Tell your doctor and see what he can do for you. You need to stick with every 3.5days. They'll be to much fluctuation at once a week.

Doesn't make sense. If you are covered for Test, it should be filled the way your doctor writes it. Different patients get written different scripts. Are you going to the same doctor? A code has to be written on the script for you. By the way, you can get a 10mL vial at CVS or Walgreens for about $42 WITHOUT insurance. Go to GoodRx.com, print out a coupon and it's a done deal. And tell the pharmacist NOT to put it through your insurance that you'll pay cash.

Sox I was hoping to hear from you, I called my CVS and they said they don't honor that particular coupon. Should I just show up with it?

There was another thread where it was found that some people simply don't know. The member spoke to a pharmacist that did accept it.

I guess the pharmacist can just run the numbers and see for themselves, right? The lady I spoke with was very "as a matter of fact" thanks for your input too B.

Mine has cracked down also. I was getting 5ml every month and then 10ml every 2 months but now the insurance changed it to 10ml every 70 or 80 days.

It seems as if the insurance companies are just as knowledgeable as most of the doctors in my area.... Not very

Each pharmacy has a "contract" with GoodRx to honor the coupon or else the coupon wouldn't exist. I'd just go into the CVS and present the coupon. There is a telephone number the pharmacist can call for any questions. Or go to another CVS.

I have always done my injection once a.week and can't say I notice any difference at the end of.the week (also using hcg 3x per week). I know 2x per week is better at maintaining consistent levels but the added hassle of another injection isn't worth it for me. You can always try it out and see what you think.
