IM injection with insulin syringe

Would it be possible to inject IM with an insulin syringe? I mean if you jab one of those into your shoulder or quad, arent you getting to muscle?

Just wondering, as it seems almost like a too good to be true type thing, and doesnt seem like anyone does that.

Youd have to be fairly lean. But yes its possible.

Most people using a small/short needle elect for sub q because it's less painful. If you're going to do im yoy night as well use a biggun

If you're going to do IM you must use a needle long enough (min 1 inch) to sufficiently reach/pass into the muscle tissue being targeted. Glutes typically take 1.5 inch pins. Do not attempt IM with an insulin pin...

A small dose twice weekly. It is difficult on a 3cc syringe.

I've often thought of how that would go. In my view, as long as you get the T into your body, what does it matter where it ends up? And insulin pins are so much less painful, it's kind of a no-brainer. I guess it's just boils down to preference. SQ guys like the idea of a slower, steady state release. IM guys like the faster up draw into the bloodstream.

Im sort of confused, getting a lot of different responses. I have 27 and 29 ga 1/2 needles and want to try IM without getting new ones. Im lean and I think I could hit muscle with the IM in my legs, and shoulders.

Now I just need to learn how to do an IM injection..

I use a 29G 1/2" Slin Pin.. Mostly inject into my shoulders or Ventro Glutes.. Piece of Cake!
