New doctor and finally got what I wanted
Edited: Let's try this again....
After my original doc ordered my labs and reviewed my results, he wanted to put my on TRT but wanted to prescribe a gel. (You can read my original post in this in this form). After I told him that I wasn't really big on the idea of using a gel and then I asked about injections. He seemed very hesitant and said that he injects his patients every 2 weeks with no AI or HCG . Anyway, he is retiring this month anyway so I had to find a new doc.
After asking around, I found a new doc to be my Primary. I scheduled my initial appointment with him last week and took in copies of all the lab work I had done. After reviewing all of my blood work and asking a few questions, my new doc agreed that I should start a TRT program. I told him that I wasn't fond of gels and that I preferred injections. He said no problem and then wrote me a script for Test Cyp. I then stated that my last doctor wouldn't prescribe HCG or an AI and he again said "no problem." He asked me what dosage I wanted to take and how often I wanted to take it. After another round of labs, I left his office with a script for Test, A-Dex and HCG....with a checkup in 6 weeks to see what adjustments need to be made.
I'm really glad that he listened but I almost feel like I did something wrong. It was almost like he just gave me what I wanted, without really giving me much input to what he thought I needed. I almost feel like he thought I was just there to get some juice and he was just willing to give it to me.
Long story short, Im waiting on my insurance to tell me if they are going to cover my prescriptions. They require 2 sets of labs showing test levels and then they will evaluate my case. They do cover the A-Dex but the Test and HCG are considered "specialty" so I have to wait on my labs. In the mean time, I was able to print off coupons for the Cyp and HCG at Walgreens. I was out the door for about 100 bucks for everything. Little did I know that I need a damn prescription for the syringes! I used to just walk right into Wal-Mart and buy them by the case.Last edited by Rock Chalk; 04-14-2014 at 09:08 PM.

Great news!
BTW: You can get syringes online easily without a script.Last edited by 2Sox; 04-16-2014 at 07:01 AM.

I'll try again. I was just frustrated because I spent a long time typing everything out and tried to change any words that might get flagged but it still wouldn't let me post so I deleted the whole post.

I did the same thing the other day, so I feel your pain! Typed out a post and kept getting the spam police banner. Turns out, it was from me using the "at" symbol. It wasn't even in a link, just using it to show my weight at certain points.

I would feel weird myself seeing as most docs are not as freely prescribing test, let alone and AI and HCG . Just roll with it for now. All you have to worry about now is the insurance. Hopefully it works out for you.

Oh, I'm not complaining by any means. I just thought it was weird that he basically asked me what he needed to prescribe me. Now, he ain't foolin' me...he obviously knows his shit. I could tell by the way he was talking. I think he just realized that I had done my homework and wasn't asking for anything crazy. I guess I just expected him to give more input. I mean, this was my fist visit to him and he barely asked me any questions. Just looked at my lab results from my last doctor and said "yeah, we should put you on some Test."
As far as insurance, they are waiting to talk with the doctor to verify that I need the HCG before they will cover it. The bad news is, that even with an RX coupon the HCG is over $200! Guess I'm going to have to order from overseas.
