    Testosterone drop in 3 months

    Hello friends..
I like to track my testosterone numbers like 3-4 times per year..
    Last 2 readings were:
    500 ng/dl oct 2013, 2 months after pct
    460 ng/dl jan 2014
    And
    330 ng/dl today's result..

    I see a trend here , and a trend I don't like.
Now , I'm pretty sure I'm on my way to trt , but is it normal to go from 500 to 300 in such short time?

    Thnx for your inputs.

Were the testing times the same?
    Odd to say the least.
You need to start looking at thyroid, cortisol, prolactin, LH, FSH etc. and try to see what's causing this.

    I did brother.
    Tsh 1.6 mu/l normal readings range 0.27-4.20
    Fsh 2.2 iu/l
    LH 3.9 iu/l
Thyroxine is 1.8 ng/ dl (0.93- 1.7 is the normal range)

I'm sleeping good , but I'm stressed out at work..
I also started an aggressive crash diet, but had the blood test after a few days break

All 3 tests were taken the same time at morning.
Last test with the screwed up low number was at morning, after working out directly , from the gym to the lab .

I also started supplementing with zinc and D3 2 months ago, which I never did before, so I really expected the number to be higher in few points.

Above in bold will impact your T levels. TSH is great but it's a weak thyroid indicator. People can still be subclinical hypothyroid with a good TSH. FSH and LH are definitely low and you may consider an MRI in the future to rule out adenoma's.

Yes, the first set of labs in the Finding A Doc Sticky thread at the top of this forum. Cover all your bases. I'd also give yourself some time to de-stress and calm down, allowing your system to be normal before you test again.

If you're looking for a full thyroid panel you would need, at a minimum, TSH, FT3, FT4, RT3, Antibodies. I'd also strongly consider that MRI.

    Thnx buddy
If you don't mind, I ll keep u updated..
I already re-tested.. But will do another future test as things settle down
I ll consider an MRI if things stay shitty

Just so I'm clear, you're not on TRT now, you're cycling gear, correct? And then you run PCT after your cycles, correct?

If that's the case, there's a good chance you will end up needing TRT at some point if not now. A very common misconception many men have is if they use steroids and run proper PCT's they won't have a need for TRT. There is no such thing as a PCT plan that guarantees you'll regain your prior natural testosterone production. Improve your chances? Sure, but improve and guarantee are far from the same thing.

Yes man , I know trt is on sight.. Specially that I'm 38 years old.
I started this read cuz after 5 months from last pct my TT was at my normal range 500 ng/dl +-
And once in a sudden I had this huge drop so I just wanted to understand the reasons.

Something I've said for years and it's often mocked but in my opinion it's still the truth...if you're going to be a steroid user, even if you follow all the rules, you need to accept TRT is inevitable. That doesn't mean you absolutely will end up on TRT, but that's the mindset you should have.

    Hello friends

Exactly what I expected , results came out today
    They screwed it up somewhere,
    I stand at 18 nmol/l which is equilevant to 518 ng/dl
Only 24 hours after first test.

They even screwed up in my last reading.. Date is 12 April , and readings are updated , on the same file (date)

I really dunno, but from 330 to 518 in 24 hours , the variation tells me the previous reading was not correct ..
    I always stayed around the 500 nd/dl number, 450 to 550

The 330 number was shocking, that's why I went for another test 24 hours later.
