New Diagnosis, 30 y/o - treat or wait
As the title says ( and a few different unanswered post on here) I have recently been diagnosed with hypogondaism by my general physician after I brought blood work from pml that I had to order myself as my dr would not test me because "your 30 years old". That being said he didn't hesitate to write me a script for androgel after just looking at the results and not asking any questions or considering any other treatment options.
That was about 2 weeks ago, I have not started using the androgel because I was trying to get an apt with an endocrinologist to discuss other options including maybe trying to get my test to rebound on its own. I was informed today that my dr did do the referral for me but my apt isn't until July 31st (3 months away).
My question is should I go ahead on the gel since its going to be so long before my apt or will it risk not rebounding even more? Should I try to run some HCG and possibly clomid (a whole new post) and retest? I have been low for about 7 months at this point already. I am symptomatic, I have 0 lobido, have lost almost 20 lbs and am generally very unmotivated to lift and just feel like I have no vigor.
Background
I have done 3 cycles of just test c and failed to recover after my last cycle ending sept 21st, was 10 weeks post was nolvadex 40/40/20/20.
Test results attached.

Any advice is appreciated, my default plan is to go ahead and start taking the androgel , I don't like feeling like crap and I know it will take a month or more to start to feel better. I also read the stickies about how important taking it is and not staying low, from my test above I can see I haven't started to lose production of LH yet.
As an aside, I am interested in having kids in the next year so that is weighing on my decision weather to start or not, I don't like risking my ability to start a family. I read the sticky about how important it is to have hcg to promote sperm production and I currently do not have a script for that, hopefully the endo will work with me to get myself able to have kids.

You need to do another PCT. I wouldn't jump on androgel . Give your body another chance to start up. 7 months of low T isn't much, I had it for 7 years.
What were your baseline levels before you started cycling?

Pre-was 850-925 but I never tested between cycles that is what it was before I ever started. Always felt like I recovered and got full size in my guys after every cycle but the last one.
so in your opinion what is another post? Clomid and nolvadex for 4 weeks?

May wanna look into the Dr Scally pct protocol. It is more aggressive than a standard pct.

Good looking out on the power PCT, I read the entire case study and some reviews from other dr's. Its easy enough to get a hold of the nolva and the clomid, but im still trying to source the hCG . Been looking for some of my gym buddies also before they start their next cycle, the benefits of running it on cycle are just too high to let them run again without it.

That confuses me. Are you saying your BW was pulled 10 weeks after pct ended?
If so, your LH / FSH (pituitary) is working just fine, your testicals are not responding.
I don't think more serms are the answer. I'd consider a brief HCG Stimulation test to determine functionality of your testicals. If they don't respond then TRT may be in your future. There's never a guarantee with AAS use unfortunately.
Scally's Power PCT is a great tool but in your case you're working fine up top, it's downstairs we're concerned with....Last edited by kelkel; 04-17-2014 at 08:56 PM.

I agree Kel, and the BW posted was taken just about 3 weeks ago it would have been about 22 weeks after ending pct.

Kel, would you recommend dosing hcg like in the power program or just a standard 1000iu /wk 500x2 for 4 weeks or maybe 6 weeks?

bah i had a long reply that didnt post. long story short our blood work is VERY similar from when i started TRT and i have no regrets changed my life quite a bit more energy better attitude happier and just all around more well being. guys werent built to run on 300-400 ng/dl test. if your 22 weeks off cycle then my opinion would be go.

Thanks Guner, I have no problem going on trt, I just still would like to have kids and I think its worth spending the time right now when its been 22 weeks not several years to try to get natural production back if possible.

Got get a sperm count, if your balls aren't responding you might not be able to have kids anyway. Chlomid or hcg might be able to help you with that tho
