Question Four months into TRT am I on track?

My levels are as follows before starting TRT and current after four months. Dose is .25ml twice a week of Testosterone Cyp injection.

    December Range April
    ESTRADIOL 10.5 7.6 - 42.6 pg/mL 16.7
    TESTOSTERONE, SERUM 210 348 - 1197 ng/dL 440
    FREE TESTOSTERONE(DIRECT) 9.2 7.2 - 24.0 pg/mL 11.7
    LH 4.4 1.7 - 8.6 mIU/mL N/A
    PSA 1.5 0.0-4.0 ng/mL 1.7
    FSH 3.9 1.5 - 12.4 mIU/mL N/A

I’ve also been going to the gym for a year and made some progress but, feel like I should be doing better. I’ve lost around 10lbs in the year (215 at 6’ 52 YO Male) and can’t lose much belly fat. 10 years ago I could get motivated and lose more, gain muscle better without any help. Yes I know the age thing is against me but that’s why I’m doing TRT. Question is what levels should I be aiming for? Is it still too early to think about increasing dosage?

hopefully i didn't double post what type of TRT are you on pellets, injections, or gels/creams?

(edited: didnt see it up top there)

that a super low ultra conservative dose.
buddy at work gets 250ml every other week test-C. and was at 350 ng/dl starting hes at 7XX ng/dl now.
if your at 440 i would guess 250ml EOW would not hurt at all im no doctor just guesstimating the math but
your "treated levels" look more like a person who would start TRT.

Hi. You might want to read this..http://forums.steroid.com/hormone-re...k-you-ask.html

52 here, as well. The time frames listed are pretty accurate. But at our age, with or without trt, some of that belly fat can be really stubborn. Your estradiol is much lower than mine. Thats a good thing. Regarding t levels, everyone is different. More is not always better. Personally, I hover around 6-700 and feel great.

Thanks for the responses. I go back to the doc in a couple months. If no improvement I'll see about increasing dosage. Btw doc prescribed 1ml every 2 weeks and when I told him I was following protocol suggested here of .25 twice per week he said it was brilliant! I guess some docs can be educated.

I am on the same dosage and have just recently started as well. I don't feel as energized as I did the first few months I started, is this true for you?

I'm wondering if our natural testosterone is shutting down now (though it was low anyway it was something) and the dosage needs increase to cover that?

as soon as you started trt your body stopped producing testosterone in any amount. Trt replaces your testosterone and gets you into the levels you should be.
