ghrp-2 and elevated cortisol
i'vebeen on sermorelin 300mcg/GHRP-2 100mcg at bedtime for a few months and am getting some side effects consistent with raised cortisol levels,. A lot of stress and hair loss and acne. This is all i take, just these peptides, no testosterone or anything. Should I be concerned? get blood work?

I feel GHRP peptides are better dosed with more frequent, smaller doses throughout the day (100mcg of each). When I dosed 200mcg at night, I noticed I started to retain water.
A cortisol and adrenal test may be a good idea. Or just stopping the peptides obviously.
If you're not on TRT, why did you post this here? Also, how old are you Daniel?

i contacted a anti-aging clinic because i was interested in hgh therapy. the clinic would not prescribe me huh because my igf-1 levels are high for my age, 259 at 35. but they started me on peptides and it's going well. i sleep really well and i look and feel younger, more fit and energetic.

Good to hear. Have you checked with them about the cortisol issue?
Also, I thought the saturation does of GHRH (semorelin) was 100mcg, but you could take the GHRP higher. I actually don't think I've seen the dosing you are on before. But, if its working, they must know what they are doing.Last edited by Black; 04-24-2014 at 09:32 PM.

i'm switching clinics, the one i'm using now is really overpriced and they keep ****ing up my orders and sending them to the wrong address. but both clinics i've talked to say the same thing, for anti-aging it's best to use 300mcg sermorelin mixed with 100mcg ghrp-2 at bedtime, you should go to sleep directly after injecting and no food 2 hours before. It can take up to a year to see optimal results and improving your diet/lifestyle helps a lot. but after just a few weeks i started noticing significant and visible benefits. I'm gonna do a saliva cortisol test and if my levels are raised i'll switch from GHRP-2 to ipamorelin at the same dose.

I've hears that ipamorelin is "weaker" compares to GHRP-2 and -6, but less prolactin and cortisol issues.
I just started mod grf 1-29 and GHRP-6. I had some left over from my last run of 8 months. I'll take 100mcg of each throughout the day (at least twice) and then 200mcg of each before bed. I had pretty good results last time.
