Double RBC donation

Just back from double rbc donation. Took 45 min in and out with the Red Cross

My count was 55 two days ago. What drop can be expected.

If i remember corectly i had a 58 RBC and donated twice at a 2 day interval and finally it came out at about 50

do they have a permanent donation office like Delta Blood?

They are set up all over so there is a place to donate every couple a days

that's what I'm thinking. Delta allows every 3 months. But if red cross has a perm center too, then I can go there and donate every three months, putting me on a 6 week donation cycle.

Red Cross doesn't have a permenant donation center like Delta Blood. They have blood drives, so the locations will different time

Yea. I'm registered with them now. Every three months is ok the allowed amount
On Monday I get blood drawn again to see where my rbc is.that's what I was wondering.
How much will it lower per donation.

it wasn't a blood donation. It was a phlebotomy. And the reason why they could do it 2 days apart was because they also gave me the equivalent in glucose solution IV. Basically they diluted my blood. Otherwise i think 2 pints is too much 2 days apart.

I donated one time in Afghanistan. They took a litre and took another one two months later.........
