Self-Testing, is it a good option?
Hello, I'm currently on a TRT which I was taking every 2 weeks but now that I'm more informed just started taking every three days. I'm asking people on here where to find cheap HcG that I can use as well.
However, I'm curious to know my levels for my own knowledge. Going through a doctor can be quite expensive, and I guess I've never considered any other way.
Can I draw my own blood and send it in to get tested just like doctor's offices do? Or is there other ways to self-test?
And is it much cheaper?

About your question. What are you wanting to get tested? Your test levels? Will your doctor not prescribe hcg ?

My apologies.
1. My doctor said we could do hCG but it'd be incredibly expensive.
2. I want to get:
Estradiol
DHEA
DHT
Aromatase
LH
Cortisol
SHBG

Sorry i cant help much but yes there are places you can get blood work done privately. I cant remember where. Hopefully kelkel will chime in where. Prices were good too. As of hcg prices with a prescription. Im not sure where the cheapest would be. Your dr should know where a cheap place is. I dont know if there carry it but costco is where i get my trt.

Hcg with prescription, a compound pharmacy would be the cheapest I think. Try empower, not sure their contact info. I use Hallandale pharmacy out of Florida, you can google it.

Definitely doable, but cost will depend on how much you pay through insurance through your doctor. Check out private MD labs . c o m.
I know they can do a cortisol blood test, but you might want to check out 24 hour saliva test instead. I hear it tends to be more accurate.
