    Free test too high?

My latest results are in and my free test is 44.98 on a 5-21 scale.
Total test was 1004 (348-1197) which makes the free 4.48% (1.5-4.2)

My question is if my free test is that high but my hematocrit is below 50, should I try to lower my dose? I am currently taking 100mg every 3.5 days with .25mg liquidex 24 hours after shot. My sensitive estrogen is 30 (3-70).

I'd lower the dose in effort to get off the AI, not due to your Free T. Higher free T won't hurt you as long as everything else stays in line, which I assume you're monitoring. No need to really look at your total T. Lower it a bit, get off the AI and stock up on your T for a rainy day.

Do you think I could stop the AI if I went to daily dosing? I finally got around to starting hcg , and was going to lower my dose to 75mg every 3.5 days. I was going to try 250IU hcg the day before the test shot.

I tried today loading both the test and hcg into the 29g and it was so easy.

    Any thoughts?

It's very possible that you might be able to do away with the AI if you went daily. I've been trying this and I've found that it takes time and patience. I'm not there yet.

Since you've found it easy to load your hCG with your T, why don't you consider doing both daily? Right now I do T Cyp at 15mg/day, along with 100iu hCG/day. Why don't you try this out and see how you feel?

I suggest this because a dose of 150mg/week of T is on the high side of the spectrum - and 500iu hCG/week is in the middle of the spectrum. IMO, you'd have better luck with E2 control if you tried a T dose on the lower side of the spectrum and I believe you'd feel better if you went up on your hCG. This has been my experience.

I would never pin daily, especially for HRT.
Just lower your dose, as 200 mg/week is on the high side. 100 mg/week is much more average.

And I'd never pin weekly or twice a week. Isn't it great that there are so many ways to attain success in TRT?

Sorry, but 140 once per week or 70 every 3.5 days only got me a 550 total T. That was with a 55 e2, but still not that great. I'm probably ~28% body fat and 242 pounds, so e2 conversion probably is what holds me back from lowering my dose too low. As I get my weight down, I'm sure the dose can be lowered. I do feel just as good with a 1000 as I did with a 1430. I'm going to see what sweet spot between 1000 and 550 still feels good and doesn't require Arimidex . I really don't mind twice a week for the last 16 months of IM, but daily SQ doesn't seem too bad either.

Cad where does your free T run? And have you lowered your E2?

My former dr never checked free T when I was on that dose. I now self treat using UGL test cyp, ARR liquidex, and privmdlbs for blood work every 3 months. I'm very methodical and patient with my treatment, I wait for blood work before adjusting. I might eventually goto Dr. Dach, like my wife does, as he follows Crisler's protocol.

Good advice. This is what I have been doing for several years so I am ready for several rainy months if they come along.

It's better to have and not need than to need and not have.
