Out of Breath
Is there something related to trt that could cause me to be short of breath?
Not having a heart attack or anything just seem to get winded easily. Veins in head (head is shaved) and neck seem more vascular as well. BP was normal at last check up and symptoms were present a well.
I don't do cardio but in the best shape of my life

try walking around the park at night to improve your lack of windiness
everything else you said seems normal

Score idk how long you been on, but I know from about month 3-6 maybe a little longer I was the same way. Now into it just past my one year mark it's improved 100%. I associated it with my e being a little high.

Either your estrogen is high and you need an AI (or a lower dose), or your hematocrit is elevated (I suspect the latter, based on the info you've given) . Get bloodwork done.

I did walk tonight for the 1st time in awhile, shared the same thought.
Been on trt for approx 3 months, relieved to hear it could be related to be honest. A rapid breathing pattern may be a better description and as I lay in bed it feels like I have a 10lb plate on my chest. Nothing major just enough to make me think about breathing, like its a function I have to control rather than one that occurs automatically.

@lovbytes I don't think this is the place to bash the advice others give when clearly Bonaparte did not read all of the OP's symptoms, then bashed my comments, funny how the responder always gets the criticism, Bonaparte needs to do more research prior to posting, ever heard of Google? Clearly water does more for our bodies than just hydrate. I base most of my post on my personal journey on TRT and had the exact same symptoms as OP. Enough said.

sounds like your hematocrit is too high.. same thng happened to me, never experienced it until about 1 year into trt.... was huffing and puffing for no reason.... also bear in mind that whatever the NORMAL range is maybe not be normal to you, so, if its elevated at all from YOUR norm, probably the culprit.. my hemat wasnt like at "critical' per lab values but i sure as hell noticed.. dontae some whole blood u will feel like a million bucks.

Are you feeling foolish yet, xcraider?
Just because increased water intake may have helped you, this does not mean that the cure for all shortness of breath is drinking a shitload of water. You are a sample group of 1, and therefore practically useless as a statistic (especially since you have presented no rationale or logic behind your claim).
How does increasing fluid intake cure high E2 or polycemia?
At best, it may mask the problem temporarily.
The problem could also be anxiety related. The symptoms fit, and mild anxiety from testosterone use isn't unheard of.
Oh wait, my apologies. I forgot that "enough said" had been declared...Last edited by Bonaparte; 05-27-2014 at 06:31 PM.

Hey score, I just went through a bout like what ur experiencing. Definetly get blood work with e2. My dosage was the same for over a year and my e2 was always alittle high. Well , I hadn't had follow up b/w for about a year and my e2 crept up as well as my hemoglobin. I give blood every 2 months and am due in about 2 weeks. So I decreased my twice a week dosage to almost half of what I was taking before and took 3 small doses of liquidex from ar-r . Got my bloodworm back and had my e 2 back down and test numbers still in the high 780 range. Get b/ w ASAP and decrease your dosage until you get your results back. Adjust from there. I'm no expert, but this worked for me. When I decreased my dosage and took the liquidex. I dropped 9 lbs. of water weight in 7 days. Hope this helps. Good luck
