Question for Nebido users
For those of you who use Nebido as TRT, I was wondering how often one should be taking the shot to maintain levels between 900-1100. I took my first shot 3 weeks ago and was wondering where would my levels be after the second shot in 6 weeks. I understand that this varies by individuals but I was reading that if you follow the Nebido protocol, you will only be at mid range which is where I was before I started treatment.

Why would you go on trt if your levels were mid range?
The only way to find out is to get blood work done after your 3rd or 4th shot. It takes months for nebio to get up and running at peak.
I'm on 11wk protocol and I'm mid range

Free testosterone has been below low consistently. All alternatives were exhausted before TRT. Hoping that higher levels of total T would increase my free T. I was having a lot of symptoms.

I know this is not an answer to your questions, but food for thought. I tried high levels in the past and got me no where, and ended up with more unwanted sides than benefits. if Marcus can maintain that size and physique on mid range then why mess with the unwanted effects of high levels?!

in that case you need to look at your SHBG and E2 levels, if any are high means your free is binding. if that's the case consider taking lots of vitamin D.

Actually, I do not want to go beyond the physiological level. I'd like to stay in the upper 900 range. Would this level be considered too high? By the way, I am 38 and my total T was in the high 400s. My free T was below normal range causing loss of muscle mass, depression and fatigue.

most of us on TRT take the minimum dose as possible, the reason is to avoid any unwanted sides. my total T is in the mid range but my free is above normal, I would love to find a way to lower it without going too low on my total. the problem with upper range is that you get unwanted sides, like thickening of the blood, acne, prostate issues, liver and kidney issues, scar tissue from injecting large volumes, etc... what's important is how you feel and how your body reacts, both must be functioning optimally, and that's not necessary feeling like superman!
there are far more hidden benefits from TRT which most of us overlook and focus just on how we feel and look, things like bone and muscle health, cardio facular health, brain function, etc... the bottom line is TRT must be administrated for optimal health and wellbeing, nothing else.

Thank you, Bass.
I understand that this is not a numbers game. It is all about how you feel. What would you say it is a safe number. My problem is unique (at least I think it is). I had a total T of 465, 533 and 500 but my free testosterone has been 7.3 (Ref 8.8 - 27.00). I tried diet, cardio, zinc, vitamin D, more sleep etc and my free T always stayed low. All lab results were within normal range. For instance, SHBG was at 32, not too high to cause super low free T.
So, you are saying that if you keep levels in the upper limits, chances are that you will have all this health issues? My objective is to raise free T and it looks like the only way to do is by increase total T.

like you said its all based on the individual, so you got to try different protocols and see which one works for you the best. most of us on TRT took about a year or so to get dialed in, its a long journey but the rewards are great.

Thanks, I am excited. I am beginning to feel better on week 3. The sexual aspect has been the best.
