Anything I can do for atrophied testes?

Been on TRT now for 20 months now and the boys have really atrophied. I'm taking test C king with HCG and I expect the. To atrophy but wasn't sure if I can bring them back up at all? Would taking larger doses of HCG help or would it just cause me to respond less to it. All my meds are pharmaceutical so the HCG is legit.

    Thanks in advance

I'm currently taking .4mg (250U per 1/4ml) 2-3 times per week but not seeing anything change. I've been taking HCG since I started TRT too. I'm also on a blast right now so not sure it that would cause them to shrink more but I wouldn't think so because suppression is suppression.

All I could suggest is eitheer increase the dose or frequency, HCG acts quickly, you will know pretty quick if its working or not. Be careful though cause if you are dialed in it can effect you ai dosage etc. but a short try of it should throw things out of wack that much and if it works and you decide to stick with it you can make adjustments. Is blood work in the mix at all?

Bloodwork isn't scheduled until December or so but I can always call it in if needed. I'm on a blast right now so I would need private labs which isn't a huge deal if this doesn't work.

I've been on TRT for about 5 years and my boys did atrophy quite a bit. The HCG did the job when I ran it 250iu x 2 times per week for 10 weeks. I did have some testicular pain when they were coming back.

Whats the dose of the T? If the dose is on the high side, you might need more HCG .

What makes you say this? In my mind shut down is shut down. Once you are, you cant get more shutdown but hey Im open to other thoughts on this when it comes to the trt realm.

Just going by what I do. My HRT consists of T twice a week at 60 mgs per hit. My HCG is 3 times a week at 250ius. If his T shots are on the higher end like 100 mgs twice a week or more his body may need more of the HCG. Im no doctor and obviously everybodys different. Really just a suggestion.

HCG is the only option for testicular atrophy. If 500iu 2-3x per week doesn't do the trick no amount of HCG will. Unfortunately, some men will not respond to HCG.
Also, keep in mind testicular atrophy is only cosmetic and does not present any type of physical damage or harm.

I don't completely agree with this comment and it's implication can be misleading. It's common knowledge that when the testicles are functioning, orgasms are considerably stronger and ejaculate volume increases. Not to mention the overall improvement in a feeling of well being. These are no small matters.

I understand what you're saying. But in terms of no physical harm or health consequence atrophied testicles still do not present either. And more importantly, if HCG will not work in some, and there are those that it won't work with, there simply isn't much you can do about it. In those cases you have two choices - continue TRT but live with testicular atrophy or have low testosterone .

I think also what LowT is saying is atrophy does not mean they are not working especially if you are taking HCG , they just may not drop like they were before.

Feel free to correct me if that's not what you meant LowT or if I'm wrong.

I knew this would be a potential problem when I started with TRT and that it was a strong possibility. It's looking like I don't respond too well to HCG . I will still take it and continue taking it and just monitor things. I talked to my wife about it last night and she said she could really care less and when they are smaller she kind of likes it because she said they aren't the most attractive things on the planet. haha She said she would rather have the me now with smaller balls than the old me that was always miserable with big balls. haha Plus, for me it's a no-brainer.

Quite honestly mine never came back to their normal size when I started this journey. Maybe too much damage was done. Simply will never know. All is well and everything works fine so it is what it is.

Reminds me of a thread here a few years ago titled: "I have small balls and I don't care." But I digress.....

Mine atrophied after about three months of hrt. Not so much the size but they were hurting a little. HCG did the trick. I only need 500 iu a week to keep them feeling good.
All this talk reminds of an AC/DC song.......
