Low Test - what to do?
I got blood work and my total test was 270 and then the second time was 220 after a week. He was talking about androgel . I am only 30 years old. I want children in future. I really dont want to go on TRT for the rest of my life atleast not right now. I did a few cycles in the past, but I didnt really think I wouldnt bounce back to normal with proper PCT. Should I try clomid at 25mg a day? I have all the symptoms of low T. No sex drive, no desire and constantly tired. I know I am about 20lbs I could lose in weight. help please

Before you do anything you need to figure out why your test is low. Only after it's determined it's not fixable should you begin TRT in any form.
If you have current BW post it please so we can see if we catch anything amiss.
Know that many things cause low T. Hypothyroidism, pathologies, varicoceles, prolactin, cortisol and the list goes on.
Far to many docs are too quick to pull the trigger with treatment, thus band aiding the original problem.

There it is, my favorite phrase in the entire world "Proper PCT" or what I like to refer to as the internet steroid users kiss of death. I've probably said this a time or two, actually I know I have - use steroids and accept that you may need TRT much sooner than you would have otherwise. I don't care how "proper" the PCT is, this is simply the reality. Be a competitive bodybuilder or major juicehead and it's all but guaranteed.
BTW, OP, I'm not bashing you by any means...I'm the last person on earth that could ever bash someone for steroid use . Just making an overall point because it's a topic/issue that people have too big of a misconception about IMO.
As far as needing TRT and needing it for life, if you do really have low testosterone and need it don't let it get you down. The alternative is feeling like you do now, so hopefully that makes it an easy choice. Further, your concern about having kids, infertility and low t do not always go hand-in-hand. Plenty of people have kids on TRT, tons.

what about using clomid at 25mg daily to increase test? Is that just a temp fix? I dont have really any sexual desire anymore. I also do feel tired, but that could be diet or being prob 20lbs over weight. What about cialis at 5-10mg daily?

They are low, which means T will be low. Preferably I'd get full BW to examine everything. I'd also consider an MRI to rule in / out pathologies. And yes, clomid is a viable option and becoming more prevalent.

We didn't see all the BW. That said, if it were me I'd be requesting an MRI of my pituitary to check for abnormalities (adenoma's.) Something's inhibiting production. Know that hypothyroid, elevated cortisol and prolactin can all suppress test levels.
Many docs think that if they don't see high prolactin then it's not a pituitary issue. That's just not the case, and I speak from personal experience.

The blood work is in the other post above. Im not going to go that far with MRI. He would of said to get one. Maybe I should see a urologist. Anyway I see alot of posts including the articles you posted about clomid.. Should I try 25mg daily to see if I have more sexual desire, etc? Will this increase gyno also the clomid, since I am prone to that?

I'd at least ask about it and see what he says. Clear your conscience. Doc's can miss things too. I prefer Uro's over Endo's but the main thing is simply that the doc understands hormones and doesn't treat you like a number. I don't see where you'll need an AI on low dose clomid but as with anything, monitor BW and sides and make adjustments along the way. All you can do is try and see how you respond. Good luck seriousL. Let us know how you do please.

After reading many posts it might seem best to try and start clomid 25mg daily for a few months I guess and then tamper off. Hopefully to kickstart more naturally test again. I'm sure t won't hurt and what about infertility? Will I have was chances to have kids in future or mess it up with clomid?

One last question, I read the article and some did 50mg EOD and some did 25mg EOD. Should I just do the common 25mg daily? I also take nac at 500mg to protect liver.
