Arimidex vs Aromasin, your thoughts please?

Me and my doc are looking into moving me to an AI, DIM worked some but still not enough to keep me at ideal levels and my libido is down in the last month along with morning wood and sexual dreams. I have bloodwork coming before I jump the gun but I want to see what you guys prefer of the two. When starting my research all I ever heard of was arimidex but recently I hear a lot of good things of aromasin , some even claiming its better in multiple ways. I know 2sox really likes it but I haven't seen a whole lot else around here, Id love to hear some opinions.

    Current Protocol
    Day 1 275iu hcg , 200mg DIM (split)
    Day 2 50mg T Cyp IM, 200mg dim (split
    Day 3 200mg DIM split

Liver support vitamins daily (love these, from my doctors pharmacy)
    Repeat

I think both work well but I like stane a bit more for its safety profile, lack of effects on igf, and I feel like its a tad bit more forgiving as far as crashing e2 levels. I used dex for years, switched to stane, had a bit of trouble getting dosage right but since then I run it every cycle . I realize you are talking trt here but I ran it when I decided to cruise ling term as well and liked it very much.

Isn't there also a risk for a rebound effect with adex as well?

You're right. I think Exemestane is the Rolls Royce of AIs. After using both, I don't know why people would consider Adex except perhaps because it's cheaper.

2sox how have other peoples responses been? Would you say it works better for a wider range of people or just better in your own experience?

He's on TRT so he won't be coming off of it if he needs it. And rebound effect is vastly overstated.

Well if he is on trt that wont be an issue and in reality I think thats a tad overblown myself. Yes there is the possibility even likelihood of a spike in e2 but imo it would be for a short time and quickly subside (like within days) so your serms for pct protect you from gyno and e2 quickly lowers via cyp 450 family of enzymes. Rebound prob does in fact occur but its effects are overblown IMO. Dex is a good solid ai.

It seems like as long as you don't go to low either does a good job. I guess it comes down to whatever the doc has easier access to (likely arimidex ). Im ancy to get my results back I want to know what changes to make and to see how high my e2 did get

All we can do here is to offer our recommendations based on our personal experience. Some do well on Adex. Others like myself, wouldn't ever go near it again. If it was the only AI on earth, then maybe.
