Would you consider HRT with these bloods?

    Hi,

As you can see in the attached bw, I've had two blood tests, pre and post my first cycle. The pre cycle is a very limited test done by my local doctor and the other is a more comprehensive test done in the UK 2 weeks after PCT completion.

The first thing I will say is neither of these are considered low test, infact the post cycle test is higher than the pre cycle test.

The main reason I ask is that my labido has been on the floor for years. Outside of that, my other low test like symptoms (lethargic, hard to gain mass, bad sleep etc) are minor and quite manageable (either that or I've got used to them). My little man works fine, but I just don't feel like using him. I rarely think about sex, no porn, rarely if ever instigate sex or foreplay.

My first cycle gave me a taste of my youth and what a good labido should be like.... and I want more lol. I appreciate that HRT dose is different than cycle dose, but even 1/5 of the cycle labido would be good.

I have no psych issues, no meds, good health, great diet, partner whom I adore, stress free life, just incredibly low labido.

My question to you is :

Would you consider HRT to fix a broken labido?

To save you effort here is the test numbers :

    pre cycle 14.9 nmol/L (8.6-29.0)
    post cycle 19.6 nmol/L (9-29)

My stats are as my profile
    38 yo
    6ft
    180lb
    10-12% bf

I don't see TRT as being necessary from what I see. Remember, we're getting older and things change. You can't relate it to when you were on cycle and basically hyper-stimulated with elevated hormone and dopamine levels, etc. Even if you stayed on cycle your sex drive would balance out and regress eventually. As long as it works you're fine. And knowing that it works just jump on your other half and have at it. Just do it. Most guys as they age don't walk around with random boners like we did as kids and that's fine, it's part of life. It's between you and your partner to keep it going.

Regarding your BW. Next time pull the first example in the Finding A Doc sticky threat at the top of this forum.

Thanks for your reply. I guess this probably boils down to : long term relationships need to be worked on. Shame... I'll just have to settle for being a sexual deviant on cycle for a few months a year lol.

Always good to have something to look forward to. Low dose daily Cialis would be a good tool in your arsenal as well.
