I decided to do my blood work on my own at 6 weeks and as I found here in the forum a guide of how to test your T and it suggested that I use personalabs and Private Md labs. I prepaid for both of them and took both the receipts to the local lab here in Florida and they pulled the blood at the same time with the same needle filling the vials as needed and this was done on Wednesday Dec 24
By Friday afternoon I had the results back from Private MD labs - Personalabs took until Monday Afternoon.
the part that concerns me is that PrivateMd said my T was 1110 and Personalabs reported it as 1427.3
All the other test such as the CBC was almost the same except for my T.
before TRT my T was reported as 384
I also found out my Estrodial was super low so I made some adjustments to that.
Anyone else had this lab experience?Last edited by kewe; 12-30-2014 at 06:21 AM.

I could understand if he was one of the 20 something generation who expect instant gratification or responses but at his age (47) you would expect a little more patience.
Hopefully OP you found your answer. Remember it is a holiday week so the site is slower than usual.

they probably use different testing methods which would yield different results. just use one and stick with it for consistent comparison.

You didnt post the ranges they used. That can make a big difference. One lab may use 300 - 1200 and the other 400 - 900 (examples) and it's on a sliding scale more or less to the average or total count could still be the same.
Also I know or have at least read that they do use a different testing method and when checking E2 Private MD labs come out 10x higher than it really is when you are taking certain supplements such as tren .

Hmmm well since they both use the same range that is interesting. I cant really tell you why but I'm sure they will both tell you they use the most accurate way of testing. lol
Either way you are at the top level or a little above. If this is just TRT I would suggest going a little lower. MOST people, not all find being in the middle is better than at top in the long run. It also saves you a little test and over time you can save up a bit and do a blast every once in a while when you are ready.

Thanks. Right now I get needles that are prefilled but I want to change that so I can pin every 3.5 days and also get off of Letrozole .
At the end of Jan I will get my scheduled bloodwork but after that I will do my own again just to monitor.
