Aveed and insurance
Any idea if Aveed is covered by Blue Cross or not? Going in for a dr visit and going to recommend this to him but want to make sure it's covered first.

You should also have access to blueshield online and your account information where you can do a search to find out. Even if it's not covered they sometimes do exceptions. You just have to request it and probably have to write a letter. One from your doctor always helps too.

Thanks LB I've got a Dr appt coming up and wanted to discuss this with him. But I didn't want to get all excited only to find out insurance won't cover. So I figured I would ask around and see if anyone else has gotten Blue cross to pay for it.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois does. If you call your provider, they generally will email you a copy of their hormone replacement policy. The policy from BCBS of Illinois was about 50 pages long.
