Cialis perscription
Sorry if this was mentioned already on the cialis thread: any guys get prescription cialis through United Health care? I got a script and UHC will allow 5 pills per week at $40. Even if the script is for 5 mg per day for a month. WTF?? Thanks

I had UHC/Oxford the last 6 years before I had to switch to Cigna this past Dec. Your Doc must call UHC Pharmacy and get Prior Authorization for Cialis 5 mgs daily. He will need to tell them it's for treatment of BPH symptoms and request a 90 day supply which will need to be filled through their mail-order service which I believe is still Optum Rx. UHC is a PITA for this med, but they finally approved it as such after many calls. Even when approved it's still expensive as a Tier 3 Med. I used to pay $100 for a 3 months supply for over a year, but thanks to Obamacare it then went up to $175.00...

My doctor prescribed a larger pill, and told me to get a pill cutter. Easy peasy.

How big are the pills you get and what do you take daily?

I mentioned this before: I get my Cialis generic overseas and use a pill cutter. 180, 20mg pills for $243. If you take 5mg/day that's about two year's worth. This lasts me about a year since I take 10mg/day. I'd say this isn't a bad deal at all. PM me if you'd like to know where I get it.

^^^^ That is true and a good deal. I just wonder how they make money when they have a drug so expensive hardly anyone can buy it.

If you can locate an overseas source that both works & fits your budget, than more power to you. However, after being in the Pharma industry over 20 years in both a domestic & international capacity I can tell you there's no sure-way of telling what you get when buying meds overseas. Both India & China have purposely built a black market in Pharmaceuticals based solely on cheap-pricing with absolutely no professional oversight to ensure the consistent efficacy or quality of the product(s) being offered to overseas consumers. While monetary concerns are surely important, everyone needs to weigh this fact when sourcing meds overseas. Especially when you consider these meds are taken on a long-term basis as part of any TRT protocol.

I would much rather get everything here. With a month supply of Lilly cialis costing $300, I don't really have much of a choice. It would be nice if/when we get a generic.
APIs what do you do in the pharmacuetical industry?
