    Libido/Energy Issues - Lab Results

Here are my lab results from tests taken last week. I literally did every test possible pretty much. Issues are, low libido, low energy. Just wanted a set of outside eyes on this to maybe give an explanation. I'm a 31 year old male.

Had trouble scrolling on my tablet so might have missed it, but did you check DHT?

Vitamin D level is very bad. I took 10,000IU daily for 6 months, and am now taking 5,000IU daily. Don't know if it will impact your libido much, but definitely needs your attention.

Free T is lower than I like. Improving an otherwise horrible D level will in turn help your free T level. Continue to monitor your D and don't overdo it as it's fat soluble, not water soluble.
What is your height / weight / app. percent body fat?

Dig deeper into your thyroid. Your TSH is high and plays into an elevated prolactin level as well which could indicate sub-clinical hypothyroidism, possibly explain how you feel and the low LH level. Your TSH range is old and a more modern scale is 0.3 - 3.0. Consider FT3, FT4, RT3 and Antibodies. Do some research at Stop the Thyroid Madness™ - Hypothyroidism and thyroid mistreatment as well.

    Read these:

Spectrum of subclinical and overt hypothyroidism: effect on thyrotr... - PubMed - NCBI

Prolactin in men's health and disease. - PubMed - NCBI

Hope this helps. Keep this thread alive with your progress please. We can all learn from this.

I just started supplementing 10,000 units of D3 every day to get my levels up. I also noticed my low LH and FSH levels, what are normal levels in the morning? I order my tests from Private MD. Is there a specific thyroid test that would get all those checked out?

I am 5'7" 160ish lbs probably sitting at 15%ish body fat.

I didn't check my DHT, but I probably should. Years and years ago, I took Propecia from ~18 to maybe 24 or 25.

Normal is relative to the individual. Can't answer that.
I'd try and find a competent doc if possible. Self-diagnosing simply may not work.
I know they offer TSH with FT3 & FT4. You can probably add the others.

DHT can play a part in libido. Worth checking, IMO.

You might also Google Post Finasteride Syndrome.
