does stress affect T levels
7 months ago my life fell apart
My GF dumped my ass, i snapped my leg, lost my job, had no money, became depressed and had extreme social anxiety
In the last month or 2 of that bad patch i had my T levels checked and my T value came in at 9.3. I started researching HPTA restart protocols thinking that im just shut down from past AAS abuse....... but here is the kicker after i started getting my life back in check and became less depressed ect my T levels have litteraly doubled.
So im curious how much affect does stress and state of mind effect your T levels?

Its hard to put a number on it, but yes, stress, anxiety, depression (and most likely a lack of quality sleep during that time) can have a big impact on hormones. I'm glad you're doing better!

Yes, many things can affect T levels and I have no doubt stress is one of them. As said, sleep is also a big effect and I dont know anyone who is stressed who sleeps good.
Congrats on getting your life back on track and try to see the cup as 1/2 full. Who knows, a year or two down the line the ex dumping you may have been the best thing that could have happened to you. She may have been holding you back without you even realizing it. You may meet Mrs. right who is 10x what she was or any number of things.
best of luck.

Thanks baxter, it was a pretty rough run.... im still curious as to weather im getting back to baseline with my hormones as i never did pre AAS bloodwork. I wonder if its still worth running a hpta restart or just take some shit like d aspartic acid or arganine to crank natty test

hahaha well I can say from experience every time you/I say something like that fate has a way of throwing you a curve ball. Dont go looking for them but if one comes along dont be to quick to discard her, just learn from your mistakes and know the warning signs.

like that car commercial .lol glad you're making a comeback , stress, anxiety and all that can wreak havoc on your hormones and body as a whole. Give yourself time to get back to normal, you may not need anything. One thing that will help is working out . If you're natty good that will help. I have low t and before I got on trt my levels went up to the 300 with nutrition and training . Best of luck .

Stress elevates cortisol which then suppresses testosterone production. It's a wicked web.
