Getting cut is all about nutrition, calories in/out. More test won't make you cut dirk.

I understand that, but do you think i could get any gains despite running a caloric deficit? I have never had more than 200mg in a week so I was wondering if i could expect to see any improvement in muscle with the extra addition of 200 more mg's

Not the typical type of thread I respond to - even so...
I would be very surprised if you added more muscle mass and strength while in a deficit even with 400mg of testosterone per week. It takes a large supply of hormones to pull that type of thing off, very large, and even then you'd need to be somewhat that responds to hormones better than the average man.

It may help decrease the amount of muscle you lose, but I seriously doubt you'll make any gains in a caloric deficit

Can't really make gains while in a deficit. I would hold off on the extra test and use it later after a successful cut.
