New Labwork with some Red Flags

Been experiencing symptoms of hypogonadism for years now.

Got new labwork done, any ideas?

    Albumin: 4.3 (3.2-4.6)
    Calcium: 9.5 (8.4-10.2)
    Glucose: 97 (75-99)
Bilirubin: 1.5 (.1-1.3) my bilirubin has always been high in every lab ive done
    ALK Phos: 53 (40-120)
    *ALT: 48 (8-40)
    AST: 28 (17-39)
    Sodium 142 (135-145)
    Potassium: 4.7 (3.5-5.1)
    Chloride: 106 (101-111)
    CO2: 29 (21-32)
    BUN: 22 (10-25)
    Creatinine: 1 (.7-1.3)
    TSH: 4.77 (.34-5.6)
    LH: 4.4 (1.2-8.6)
    *Prolactin: 21.9 (2.6-13.1)
    Free T3: 3.12 (2.5-3.9)
    T4: 6.2 (5.1-14.1)
    *DHEA: 212 (280-640)
    Test Free: 59 (47-244)
    % Free Test: 2.0 (1.6-2.9)
    *Total Test: 293 (300-1080)
    Vitamin D: 36 (30-80)
    SHBG: 26 (11-80)

Have always had high prolactin. Had MRI done years ago no pit. tumor. Sleep apnea test negative.

Went and saw Dr. Mariano in CA and he thought I was hypothyroid, but the armour thyroid he put me on made me feed no better and these thyroid numbers are all in the "normal" range.

Dr. Mariano is a good guy, and I would follow his advice. As I understand it, thyroid meds must be "dialed in" just like Testosterone . Give it some time.

Your Vitamin D level is lower than I would want mine. Wouldn't hurt to start supplementing with D3. I take 10,000IU daily.

Were these labs with or without the thyroid medication?

Thyroid is not about being in range, you need to be in the right part of the range. For example TSH needs to be in the lower third of it and your T4 seems a lowish too.

I'd say you have a good approach in hand and should first dial in the thyroid medication, and work your way from there. I think your doctor is right when thinking fixing it first at least some other issues would be automatically fixed too. One problem at a time is good. Less complex.
