Latest B/W
Testosterone , Serum 626 ng/dL 348-1197 TA
Free Testosterone(Direct) 19.7 pg/mL 8.7-25.1
DHEA-Sulfate 497.7 High ug/dL 102.6-416.3
Estradiol 55.3 High pg/mL 7.6-42.6
Prostate Specific Ag, Serum 0.8 ng/mL 0.0-4.0
I am not taking a DHEA supplement, but I am taking an Adrenal Support Multi-Ingredient Supplement, so that could be why my DHEA level is elevated.
I am currently taking 80mg of Test Cyp & 250mg of HCG 2 x a week on Wed. and Saturday.
I am considering raising my Test amount back to 100mg 2 x a week.
My last Estradiol level (June 2014) was at 60 pg/ml not much difference on the lower Test.
Thoughts on DHEA and Estradiol levels?
Thanks!!!

I have been on the fence in the past about taking an AI. I am all for it now. I would like to cut my Estradiol level in half.
What is a recommended medication and dosage?
Thanks!!

well i suggest aromasin because its the least unhealthy AI doesnt effect lipids and increases shgb
so its acctuly benefecial
i shy away from ai as well but asin is the way to go
dosage depends i would do 1/2 tab eod till its lowered than back off as needed
right now kinda high so you can do full tab for a few days then you want to find the sweet spot (easier said than done)
will depend on test dosage and bf levels and your individual response so i cant tell you
it may be 1/2 tab eod it maybe 1/2 tab once a week try to see where you feel good without crashing estro or letting it get out of control - learn your body lol thats my advice
quite often neglected

Your estrogen is actually lower than what your test shows. Standard estradiol is geared toward women, not men. Men will read lower on it, thus it can cause unnecessary dosing of AI's. That said, you're probably still a little high and I'd work that angle first which in turn will elevate your T. Then decide if you need to up your dose. One change at a time is best. Aromasin can decrease shbg.

Thanks guys!! I will just add the Aromasin and not change my Test dosage. Looks like tablet size is 25mg. So I'm thinking 12.5mg every other day.
Any thoughts on tablet form vs. liquid form?
Thanks!!

personally would never use liquid supports only hg - often overlooked
id do 12.5mg for first week or two then maybe back off . 12.5 mg eod will crash my estro pretty fast but
if ur not using pharm stuff no idea what to tell u

12.5 for the first week or two. At an every other day dosing schedule?
I understand what you mean about liquid vs. tablet. I only ask because I see companies selling the liquid version too.
Thanks!!!

As kelkel said, your actual estradiol is more than likely lower, more than likely at least 10 points if not 20 points. That said, 50-75mg of zinc per day could very well have you in good shape estradiol wise. That would be my first choice. Try the zinc, test with the correct estradiol test in 6wks or so and go from there. And as always, don't get too caught up in the numbers, how you feel is most important.

I take 50mg of Zinc. That was my miscommunication. It is the correct test. Estradiol Sensitive Assay.
Estradiol (Sensitive) 55.3 High pg/mL 7.6-42.6

OK, then sure, it's a little elevated. How do you feel though? That's the most important thing.

I've noticed recently in the last two weeks a drop in libido. Also I have been getting very hot in the evening time which I haven't experienced in over 6 months.
I've had a decrease in libido in the past while on TRT and added HCG which helped some. I'm still using HCG 250mg 2 x a week. So this decrease is new.
At the same time I have experienced an increase in strength though. I attribute this to incorporating pre-workout carbs and cup of coffee pre-workout.Last edited by jwh7699; 06-03-2015 at 11:27 AM.

Some men find they run a little warmer simply because their testosterone levels have improved and their metabolism is running a little stronger.
Decrease in libido, yeah that could potentially be caused by your estradiol levels. Your numbers, in my opinion, should not be significant enough to crush your libido. Yes, everyone's different but there are certain truths that hold true to most everyone.
I also think it's important to remember that our body's go through natural cycles. When on TRT we seem to subconsciously think such cycles should no longer exist. Look at it this way, before you ever touched testosterone and your libido was in good shape, maybe you were as horny as a goat all the time or maybe just regular all the time. Either way, more than likely you had periods of time when you were even hornier despite nothing in your life changing. Same can be said of appetite, sleep patterns and all sorts of things. There are natural cycles our body goes through.
I'd consider continuing the zinc, perhaps upping it 25mg and you could try adding 0.25mg of anastrozole per week. I wouldn't do any more than that and I'd check things in 4-6wks. If things look good, keep in mind that doesn't mean they'll stay that way. Your estradiol levels could continue to drop.

0.25mg per week is simply once per week.
Yes I recommend anastrozole.
