    Anastrozole Question

I'm looking to start on Anastrozole. I currently take 80mg of Test Cyp 2 x a week on Wed. & Sat.

My last B/W my Estradiol Sensitive was 55. It was recommended that I take 0.25mg of Anastozole 1 x a week.

Based on my Test dosing schedule. What day of the week is i best to take the Anastozole?

    Thanks!!!

If you lower your dose, you may not even need an AI.

Post your total and free numbers - with ranges please - on your present protocol. The range for you Estradiol sensitive test too.

Look into Aromasin /Exemestane. Much easier to live with. No rebound effect.

Most take their AI the day after the injection. But if you're doing it twice a week, you may want to take it in-between the shots.

    Total T 626ng/dl (348-1197)
    Free T 19.7pg/ml (8.7 - 25.1)
    55.3pg/ml (7.6-42.6)

I would actually prefer my Total Test level to be higher.

I inject test/hcg on Monday am and Thursday pm. I take my 1/4mg anastrozole on Saturday am. That's just the schedule I choose to keep it simple.

Keeping it simple works better for me.

I'd probably just try taking it the day after one of your injections. Reassess bloodwork in ~6 weeks and go from there.

.25mg might be enough for you. If not, .25mg after each injection would be a logical next step.

Also just an FYI, that's not the sensitive estradiol assay as you mentioned in the original post.

    Thanks!!

Yeah, some people mentioned that they didn't think it was the right Estradiol test. It was a Male Hormone panel I purchased and I re-asked the lab technician before getting the blood drawn if it was the Sensitive one and she said it was.

You can tell by the range or the pg/ml?

The labcorp sensitive range is 3 - 70, not too many people test high on the e2 sensitive test. Would be worth getting and comparing the result I believe the e2 sensitive is about $70.00, with discount code.
