Long Term TRT while keeping balls alive?
Hey everyone...long time reader, yet haven't posted much in a while.
I am currently in a stage of pretty f-ing low T. My issue is unresolved, as I'm 34. I have previously been diagnosed with disseminated lyme disease (which im finally clear of after 3 years) and a few other chronic infections that were taken care of at the same time (f-ing ticks!)..as well as thyroid issues
Anyway, so I've had really low free test for a few years now. Total test is good (had slightly elevated SHGB a few times as well, normal cortisol and albumin), but with the low free test I ended up putting on 50lb of fat, having really crappy joints (3 scopes so far on two knees, and one on my right elbow...plus two kinda major knee ops to regrow the cartilage (MACI procedure). The low test has also made me an anxious wreck, depressed and I have no motivation at all. I even have a shitty sex drive...which is so dumb because my girlfriend is SMOKING hot. Pretty proud of that :P According to my doc, 85% of males have a higher test level than me. My lowest free test was 167mg/nl, where I should be around 800-900 with the amount of total test I'm pushing out.
This next year is extremely important. The knee operations are going to take 12-18mnths to fully rehabilitate. This is tissue engineering and regrowing cartilage in a lab kinda stuff, so I want to make sure if I'm going under the knife...I'm going to heal the best I can.
Due to wanting to heal well, feel better within myself and keep going with my rehab and gym work, I want to make sure I have the ultimate best levels of GH and Test in my body. I'm not talking superphysiological pro bodybuilder style...I just want my natural levels back so I can heal well and hopefully save my sanity because this depression stuff sucks the big one.
The thing is, I never used to be like this. Played football (american) for my home team, my state, my country... I've been a gym rat all my life pretty much... So something clearly happened and I am still recovering..
So my questions are:
- Is there a safe way to go on long term testosterone , say for a year, while keeping the balls alive and kicking (clomid?) Anyone tried long term test? My doc hates creams, and so do I...I don't mind the jabs.
- DHEA is illegal here, but I was able to get some. I have heard good and bad things about this, but I have around 250-300 50mg tablets. Is this also an added bonus? or stay away?
- I have recently tried sustanon 250 under the supervision of my doc, and I was impresed to an extent...but I don't wanna kill my nuts off..especially not for that dosage once every 10-14 days.
- GH is a huge catalyst for cartilage cell proliferation, and I was hoping to get some info on proper levels for adults and what you can safely boost it to until you start copping gnarly side effects? Basically, they are growing infant cartilage from scratch...so 300-700mg/nl of GH in my blood won't really be the best for it, as it needs more..infants have 1400mg/nl, so wondering if levels like that would cause isues?
Would love some advice, if any of you can spare some..
Thanks in advance
P.S Has anyone had any PCT results that got their natural T levels back to f-ing awesome?

You should post up labs with ranges. You can be on trt and hcg which will keep your "balls alive".

Why can't they determine what the cause of your low T is? Or is it simply idiopathic? Football, head trauma, etc can easily cause issues with your HPTA.
Like Beethoven said, if you have current labs I'd love to see them. TRT is not something to be taken lightly and clomid if used while on testosterone will do absolutely nothing for you. By itself it is a viable form of TRT and one to consider if children are in your future.
There are risks that come with a short term venture into TRT via testosterone therapy . Most pct's seem to be relatively successful but just like with a cycle some never fully recover to normal levels. There always that risk....
I'd be pushing hard to determine the root cause of your low T and correct it. If not correctable then without question I'd go on TRT if your levels warrant it.

I agree totally. And to make it simple, there is no such thing as short term TRT. You're either on it or you're not. As Kel said, you run risks. You don't need this. I personally wouldn't play with injecting pure GH because it shuts down your own natural production and you have enough problems at your age. You may want to look into GHRPs - growth hormone releasing peptides. I use them and they work. But don't go into it blindly. Do your homework. Look up Datbtrue. It's a website. Lots of information.
P.S. If you want to "keep your balls alive" when on TRT - get some hCG .Last edited by 2Sox; 08-18-2015 at 04:58 PM.
