Test to E2 ratio
What do ya'll think about the T to E ratio? We know that everyone is different and feels better at different T levels.
I read on Nelson Vergels site ( i wont list it) about this topic and how some guys felt like crap with TT of 1000+ with E2 @ 20 but felt much better when there TT was lower in the 750 or so. Which changed the ratio.
Its a pretty new concept so wanted to see if anybody else had thoughts on it.
Might be something to it instead of saying everyones E2 should be X.
Whatcha think boys?

There is nothing new about having a good balance between testosterone levels and estrogen level. You want them both in a good range

The doc I went to when I got test bloods wanted to see a 5% ratio E to T so 50E/1000 test. Now this guy was also only interested in pellets and not finding out WHY I might need test but it was a ratio.

There was alot of conversation about a ratio of keeping E2 (14-20) using the math of T÷E2.
So for my example above say TT is at 750, with an E2 @ 50 gives a ratio # of 15
Whereas a TT @ 1000 and E2 @ 25 gives a ratio # of 40..
The latter example probably is where a lot of guys are keeping there E2. I guess it depends on how they feel..
I havent seen any studies yet that talk about this type of ratio..

Ratio is far more important. The idea of E2 absolutely having to be 20-30 is rapidly becoming as outdated as the idea of injecting testosterone once every 2-3wks. However, I can promise you it is an idea that will die very slow around here and message boards in general because a lot of TRT guys treat E2 like some religious belief.

Exactly. You're not a number. LEF Foundation was one of the big proponents of keeping E2 in the 20-30 range and that, no doubt, spread like wild fire. They're basing it on statistics which is fine, but ultimately it comes down to how you feel. Without question I feel best with my E2 mid thirties.

Seeing more and more about ratio these days. My question would be is there a number too high ever or as long as the ratio is 14-20 are things ok? Like when would an ai be required?

Well from what they were saying, in the case of having gyno symptoms, or based on how you're feeling. I suppose if you feel like crap then you may need to reevalute your levels.
But implied no upper limit so long as no issues.
