HCG Dosing
How do you know if you should inject 250ius 2 x a week or 500ius 2 x a week?
Which blood test indicates which would be better?
Thanks!!

Which blood test? mmmm I'll go with a free testosterone test, which you would need to get twice, weeks apart. Which your PCP will probably not order for you(USA)

I'm currently dosing 250iu's 2 x a week.
So if my Free T is at the top of the range I should keep the dosing as is if it's lower I should consider increasing?

Start low and see how you respond. 250 iu 2 x ew is usually enough to maintain some testicular function during the administration of exogenous androgens

It kind of depends on your specific goal or reason for taking hCG .
Some guys use it to preserve or regain fertility, others use hCG for preventing testicular atrophy and maintaining production of other hormones like progesterone and pregnenalone.
Your current dose works just fine for many guys, although others seem to require a bit more to achieve the desired effects.
I'd say that if things are going well for you on your current dose there's no reason to switch it up. In larger doses, hCG can cause some men to have issues controlling their estradiol.
In terms of testing, I'd say that a semen analysis is the most valuable one to determine whether a dose increase is justified. Might not hurt to look at progesterone and pregnenalone levels if you're really concerned though.

I wish the Pregnenalone test was cheaper. I'm going to get the Progesterone test done. I have some Cortisol issues and would like to see how that level affects it.

My healthcare is covered by the VA. The only BW they will do is Test, Free Test, Prolactin, RBC and everything that is in a Metabolic Profile Assessment.
If you ask for something out of the ordinary they pretty much just tell you that they will look into it and then send you a letter in the mail saying it's not medically necessary.
So it's easier to pay out of pocket. Most tests aren't too expensive except for the Pregnenalone test which is $130 for just the one test.
