    Thoughts On Levels???

Long story short, my doc at the VA took me off TRT on 7/12 due to high RBC's. Wanted to see how my system stabilized in 3 months. I had labs done on 10/05 and have gotten some of them back and wanted to see what you guys thought of my levels. The full testosterone panel isn't in just yet but should be in the next few days before I go see the NEW endo because the last one was actually just a PA and an idiot. I'm particularly curious about the DHEA. The reference ranges follow all the lab results below.

    Yes, your levels are poor.

    Pointing out the obvious:

You've been on TRT for some time. Doc takes you off and simply hopes for your endogenous production to return to normal. He does not provide serms (Tamox and Clomid) from what I recall in effort to kick start your production. It's hard enough to return to normal even with serms, but without is making the odds ridiculously bad. This goes toward his knowledge of the HPTA.

So, your LH is low. LH is what sends the signals downstream to begin testosterone production. Low LH = low T, as well as everything else in your cholesterol pathways being low too. Serms would have hyper-stimulated production of LH thus elevating your T assuming everything downstream is functioning properly.

Assuming you were legitimately diagnosed the first time then you need to be back on TRT. Your only other options would be Serms to stimulate pituitary function for a period of time (PCT) and then come off and see if elevated levels somewhat hold over time. That or simply ride it out and see what happens over time. My instinct would be that it would not improve that much if left alone.

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH Kelkel. I know I can ALWAYS count on you. Sorry for the PM but I was in kinda a rush as my follow up appt is tomorrow morning. Another questsion, I have a little stash of test on hand and after and if the doc puts me back on TRT which is clearly a given, is there a "beginning" dose I should start with or just start out with my regular dose?

As for the question of how I've been feeling. Honestly, almost the worst I've felt in my entire life other than when I returned from my last tour in Iraq. The depression has been awful. I originally went back into the doc because even though on TRT I had no sex drive. Now I don't even take second notice of a nice ass in yoga pants. I've put on about 8-10 pounds even while maintaining a strict diet. Just to get motivation to go to the gym calling a coke dealer would probably work better than drinking 2 preworkouts as I have zero motivation but I still push myself 5 days a week. While there I exhaust out usually after the very first routine like say 3 sets of bench. It's been injury after injury to include an 8 hour visit in the ER for my lower back while only trying to squat 225. The the just all around lethargy pretty much 24/7. Probably a few other things in there too....

OH, and another weird thing is my left testicle has been VERY sore off and on for a few weeks now. Sometimes a very achy pain for hours on end but then there's very sharp shooting pains. It's always very tender to touch. Not sure what that's about

First things first. If your doc puts you back on TRT you'd normally be pulling BW in about 6 weeks or so, assuming the doc has a clue, and then again around 6 months. All that would pretty much put a halt to any cycle's just yet. That said, you know that just getting dialed back in will do wonders for you both mentally and physically. In other words, don't screw up your relationship with a new doc....

When it comes to testicular pain, it should be brought up to your doc and palpated (hopefully a female doc) as well as possibly an ultrasound if needed. Post up how your doc visit goes please on this thread.

And no worries about the pm. I respond to more of those than posts.

I wasn't planning on doing my next cycle until around February anyways but if I have to weight a little longer, so be it.

As for the testicular pain. About 5 years ago I had a severe case of testicular torsion. It was a very rapid onset and I was rushed to the ER where they did an ultrasound and then emergency surgery to save my dude and unravel him which they did. I never had any pain til the immediate onset and when it hit, it was the worst pain anyone could imagine. 3 doses of morphine on slightly eased the pain. This current pain has slowly progressed and is the same dude as before so I'm hoping he didn't get all twisted up again. Guess we'll see what they say tomorrow and yes, hoping for a female to palpate!

Seriously get that checked. Good luck man I know trt is tough and dealing with Drs that don't know anything is frustrating. I hate educating Drs

SOOOO, back from the doc. First I'll say I new the appt wasn't going to go perfect because the initial doctor was an Internal Medicine fresh out of school and was a tiny scrawny little Asian who probably does have an ounce of test in his body and the other who came in later was an actual endo but was a stubborn little Indian female. After arguing with not one but two dumbass VA docs they agree to put me back on TRT. They kept trying to telling me to give it another 3 months and see how my system levels out and offered clomid. I said what's the point, but before I even started TRT my system clearly wasn't working and they tried arguing that 287 was an acceptable level for a 40 y/o male so I argued then I why did I feel like complete shit then which is exactly how I feel now? More excuses came flowing then the whole I run a much higher risk of a stroke or heart attack when my levels are higher blah blah blah. I then told them I understand that but 668 is not all that high (that was my last level before stopping TRT) and even I do kick the bucket early, at least I won't be feeling like complete shit the remainder of my life and will die a much happier MAN.

As far as getting HCG . I brought my GF in and we explained how we plan on having a rug rat in the near future. Well, the VA doesn't even prescribe that so I told the little rookie doctor to put in a referral for me to be seen outside the VA so I have that to look forward to even though when it comes to the VA, I probably won't be able to get seen by anybody for a couple months. Anybody recommend any TRT doc's in the Phoenix area? I can try to push to get referred to them.

On to the testicular pain. They agreed with me in that the pain is probably due to the low T and the dude struggling to produce but they also cooperated with me and are ordered Kelkel to play with my balls in his mouth. I mean, I mean, they're ordering an ultrasound! lol

So, as soon as I post this you can find me in the shitter jabbing 100 mg's in my thigh!!!

p.s. If I can't get the outside doc to prescribe HCG, how much does it run via UGL's for about 500 IU/week? Feel free to PM me about that and good place for it if you don't mind.
