    Negative reaction to Adex?

Hey guys, my E2 was a little high on my last labs (43.3pg/ml) and my doc proscribed me .25mg Adex to be taken 2x week. 6 hours after taking the first pill (I'ts compounded to the correct dose so I take the whole pill) I began feeling fatigued, some brain fog, a general sense of discomfort, and I felt my heart racing while I was going to sleep. It felt similar to mild over-training or the first day of a cold. This lasted about 2 days before subsiding. My doc then dropped the dose to .1mg 2x week and I still feel some of those symptoms at a reduced level for about the same duration.

Is this a result of my E2 crashing after taking the Adex and taking 2 days to come back to a normal level? Or is it possible that I just don't tolerate Adex well? My doc said that I may be "sensitive" to adex but I'm unsure what he meant by that. What do you guys think? I've included my full labs for anyone curious.

IMO, and from my experience, Adex is bad stuff and difficult to get the dosing right. And it has a wicked rebound effect which from what you describe, is apparently what you experienced. I would never go near it again. Try Exemestane. It's sweet.

Hey Sox. so it's likely a dose dependent effect? I'm scrambling to read about Exemestane. What makes it more tolerated than adex? Is the dosing harder to **** up or just has less overall side effects?

There are a couple of threads here on it and lots of other info readily available. Not hard to find out about Exemestane.
    Take a look at this:

Wow Exemetane sounds amazing. Pricey though. I'm going to fiddle with Adex a bit longer but if it doesn't work out it's nice to know their are other resources.

I get mine overseas. It' costs me about $45 for 30 pills. And since I use about 2 pills per month, it really isn't that bad. PM me if you'd like to know where I get it.

I have really enjoyed this thread and watching it closely. Several members mention that we are all different and I think my experience fits that statement. I am 53.. been on TRT for about 7 years off and on (would cycle off if PSA got too high)... currently on 200mg test cyp every 7 days.. current level is 956 and I do dex.. 1mg twice a week. and estrogen level is 46.. I also do HCG 2x a week at 250iu.... So my levels are pretty good and so far this time no PSA issues.... but I have notices a tad bit of ED.. nothing too serious but enough I have taken notice... I guess my estrogen levels could be lowered a bit. I am very interested in the liquid stane... as I have heard a lot of good stuff about it.. but since my levels are pretty good.. hesitant to make the switch. I look forward to continuing to read what you all are doing in this regard.
