It's been available under the name "Aveed" for probably a couple years now. They did reduce the amount to 750mgs from the 1000mgs that's allowed across the pond.

My endo began offering Aveed in January and I was his first patient to try it. I recently had my fourth shot. I'm obviously happy with it, as is another of his patients. A third has gone back to injecting (or was it gell?). Aveed is very convenient and the injection is not painful. Bloodwork suggests ten weeks is a good injection protocol.

How are your levels of TT and FT so far?

Blood is drawn at the time of each injection. I'm definitely aware that T levels are falling in the days immediately prior my appointments, but for most of the 9-10 cycle I completely forget that I'm being treated. Love this!

    May 1 -- first injection

June 1 -- 2nd injection (protocol calls for second injection four weeks after)
    Can't find blood work.

    August 11 (10 weeks, 1 day later)
    Testosterone (NG/DL) 306 (300-890)
    SHBG (NMOL/L) 27.0 (19.3-76.4)
    Calc Free Testosterone (NG/DL) 6.8 (4.8-25.7)

    October 15 (9 weeks, 2 days later)
    Testosterone (NG/DL) 258 (300-890)
    SHBG (NMOL/L) 27.0 (19.3-76.4)
    Calc Free Testosterone (NG/DL) 5.6 (4.8-25)

The "sweet spot" for me may be injections every 8 weeks. I'm going to bring this up with my doctor today. I would also like to know what peak levels are -- say one week after injections.

I'd definitely be shooting for 8 weeks or so. Your BW shows the flaw by the US FDA where they dropped the dose from 1000 mgs to 750 mgs. I'd bet the additional 250 mgs (allowed across the pond) would have been perfect for you.

Great idea to get peak levels but I'd probably be more interested in 4 weeks or so. Hell, both if your doc will allow you, or you can pull it yourself very cheaply.
