    Exemestane side effects

In considering switching to exemestane from adex, I looked up the side effects:
Common and Rare Side Effects for exemestane oral

Has anyone experienced any or some of these. I understand that the dose for TRT purposes is generally a lot less than what females would be commonly using - but some of these sides look a bit scary. It is really a form of chemotherapy for breast cancer in women. Thoughts?

    Thought? Yes.

As with any medication, follow the guidelines. If you have a reaction, stop it. But I'd say for a traditional TRT protocol, the risks are low and side effects rare - IF you are prudent with dosing.

Yes, many AIs are used as estrogen suppressors for breast cancer. But you are comparing apples and oranges. The purpose of a AI in a TRT protocol is to maintain a correct estrogen balance. Go slow and you should be fine.

You really can't look at all the listed side effect, unless they are statistically significant when compared to a control group.
The only concern with switching to Aromasin from Adex is that it binds to androgen receptors in the scalp (and activates them), so it will cause hair loss if you're prone.

Man... I've always had crap hair genetics and being on trt has made it pretty bad. I keep my hair short so you can see where I'm thinning. It's like the hair from my forehead back and the crown of my head forward have waged a war and the hair in the middle is the enemy and the 2 great armies will come together soon.

If I recall, it has 2.5X the AR binding affinity of DHT.

If your genetically prone to baldness its something that you will eventually just have to deal with. You may look good with a shaved head.
