this family doc picked up my test script about 7 or 8 years ago (found her because she had cared for my wife for years)
i used to pay her cash and she had a very fair cash price actually unbelievably fair...this past year the wife and I got insurance and paid everything that we were asked.....i had an appointment wednesday and they told me if i didnt pay 158 and change I COULDNT BE SEEN!(looks like either an out of network or deductible that accumulated for seeing her about 3 or 4 times)..all this after giving me the appointment, calling to remind me about the appointment AND NO MENTION that i'd have to pay this at this appointment....so i got pissed
so i will have to just pay that which i'm gonna do because the health system is getting worse and worse

Curious as to what you guys consider a good or fair deal for TRT? $200 just doesn't seem outrageous to me. Now before you answer, keep in mind I'm talking about legit TRT...not things like "well I buy testosterone from some guy at the gym" I do this and that to cheat the system, etc. I'm also not referring to insurance because that's irrelevant...we're simply talking about basic cost. Plus I'm willing to bet everyone of us spend at least $100 or $200 a month on something that's complete BS. Maybe not one thing, could be a combo of little $20 this or thats here and there.

I have always felt 200 a month for legitimate TRT was more than fair. I've discussed the issue with some clinics that were substantially more.
That being said, about 6 months ago I finally approached my GP, shared my protocol and asked him if he would assume it, somewhat surprisingly he consented. Now I pay 44 bucks (goodRx) for Watson 10ml, 200mg. 32 cents per 1mg anastrozole, and BW basically free thru my health ins. Recently bought 3 - 5,000 iu's HcG oversea's for 60 bucks, shipping included (corian).
My point being, as long as you are willing to monitor your own BW, TRT can be achieved on a shoestring budget.

All fair points, but if your insurance won't cover blood work for TRT and you're not wanting to buy HCG overseas, you're trying to stay 100% legal on the up and up and it's all being paid with your own money, again $200 seems pretty reasonable. Heck, I'd call $300 reasonable. It's when you get into those clinics that are charging $500 that it starts getting crazy IMO.

I've been with low t for two years now.
200 a month is a fair price i think. However, after being dialed in, 2 blood works a year, refills basically every 2-3 months. . It's expensive comparably IF insurance covers your bw and appointments.
$2400 a year compared to. . Maybe $300?

Well and really that was my point^^^^^^ 200 a month is fair IMO, but it's a shame, if your dialed in and fairly educated on the subject ther should be more opportunities with general practioners IMO to relieve males, even females with hormones and have it covered under insurance as medically necessary as we all that suffer know it is.

I think $200/month is a fair price.
Obviously I'd prefer to be paying a fraction of that by using my insurance, but for an out of pocket expense I'm ok with paying $200/month. It's also a very hassle free way to be treated, and that's worth some money if you ask me.
I have no clue how or why people are paying $400+/month at other "high end" clinics, but I guess if you've got tons of disposable income it's not that big of a deal. I wouldn't ever consider paying nearly that much.

I thought the Low T center was 199 for every 6 weeks which covers blood work.

Yeah sorry I didn't see that until after I posted. He also stated he didn't want to pay the 200 a month and insurance was mentioned as well. No insurance will cover a clinic that I know of so the message wasn't all that clear.
