please help! just got my T levels checked
I've been having the typical symptoms of low T (documented depression, low libido etc etc) and I decided to get my levels checked
testosterone total was 4.51 ng/ml
Testosterone free % was 2.4%
And free testotoerone was 110.3 pg/ml
I'm only 23 what should I do?
Last year when I was having low T symptoms my blood test came up as this
Testosterone total 5.63 ng/ml
Testosterone free % was 2.61
Free testotoerone was 146.7 pg/ml
Idk what to do! I know kaiser won't give me a script because they said I'm still in the normal ranges
Please would like to hear feedback from yall!

What is kaiser? If your levels are low even despite your age you should be a candidate for trt
If the doctor youre working with wont agree with that and you feel like you need or want to try testosterone then go find another doctor
if that doesnt work out and you still feel it might help to get on trt then do your research here and find some on your own
I normally wouldnt ever tell someone your age to consider trt but if your levels are low and its a chronic problem then look into it
Also is there anything else that might be going on that could be causing these problems? Bad overall health? Opiate use?

You are in the normal range.
Maybe a bit low for your age, but there are plenty of things that can lower testosterone to lowish numbers. Do you smoke? Do you smoke cannabis? Do you drink, and have late nights out? Do you take any medication? etc.
All this things can lower significately testosterone. Then you have medical conditions that can lower the numbers, testicles varicoceles, pituitary adenomas, hypothyroidism, vitamin D deficiency, etc.
You should not take testosterone shots before diagnosing correctly why you have low T. Even not testing early morning can show low numbers in most.Last edited by Mr.BB; 12-29-2015 at 09:12 AM.

Ok will like mself and BB said...try to identify some other factors that could b causing these problems
Also like bb said your numbers might be low for your age but they are still in range
Then go forward with the things i suggested if you feel like nothing has improved and there is nothing you can do to improve your overall quality of life and fix these problems

In the future I'll keep that in mind, I've only been using this site for a week so I'm still getting the hang of it
