Injection size for subcutaneous testosterone

Hi

I have been injecting 80mg of testosterone every week in my tummy just 3 inches away from belly button using 1cc 26 gauge insulin syringe. It's needle size is half inch. Initially it would cause a bump at injection site that won't go away for a week and would take 2 weeks to fully go away so I now don't insert the whole needle and only inject 2/3rd of 0.5inch.

What is correct size and length of needle?
I inject at 45° angle my testoviron Depot 250mg (. 4ml)

I'm not a big fan of injecting anything oil based subq. However, 0.4 ml. isn't a lot so, I would use a 29 gauge insulin syringe, 1/2 inch. Sterilize a spot 2-3 inches from the navel. Pull the skin over some with four fingers. Stick where you skin is tight( going in at an angle is fine) inject the test, then release your skin. This method makes a cover for your injection site that should eliminate the chance of any infection at injection site post injection. I cleanse the site with alcohol before and after injection. Just a suggestion, I do TB syringe with 25g 5/8 needle and do deltiods IM. Some would argue thats SQ some would argue it IM. For me, nooooo pain at at. Consistently run upper 900s trough with free being at high end range of normal, E2 middle range (no problems at all and no AI) For me, I tried longer needles into thighs and tried small gauge into stomach (big bumps) and have found this to be the easiest and pain free for me. No problems at all. Doing this style for over a year now. Just my measly 2 cents

I use insulin needle and inject in fat on my thighs, been doing this for a few years now. Personally have tried everything and everywhere and levels are always the same.

If I'm running just TRT amounts I'll use a 27 ga .5" syringe virtually anywhere. It doesn't matter whether it's SQ, IM or a combination of both. Works just fine with small amounts.
